      In April of 2022, I hired Kenneth ***** Washington to do some repairs on my house after a tree fell on it. It was a large job that involved repairing the foundation, drywall, cabinets, floors, insolation, roofing, painting, etc. He signed a contract agreeing to do the repairs. Insurance provided $40,000 for Kenneth to do work on the house. Essentially, he repaired the roof but did no other repairs. My house is unlivable, and he has taken off with the rest of the money. He has abandoned the job. I would like to refunded my money and reimbursed for punitive damages and to press charges against him.

      Greetings

      *************** to the complaint that was lodged by *********************************.

      It is true that **************** and I had a contract but he voided when would not let me on the property and he told me to discontinue working on his home.  He even reported to the ****************************** Department.  I agreed after numerous attempts to finish the project.  He let me know by text that he did not want me on his property anymore and that I was to return any unused funds to him so that he could pull the permit and finish the work himself.  I had no problem complying with his wishes.  I am submitting an itemized job expense report showing work performed and the amount to be refunded.  I only wish that **************** and myself could have resolved this matter without having a third party to arbitrate.  I am ready to refund **************** the unused funds as soon as possible.  

      This is thanking you in advance for any assistance you can provide in this matter.
