My wife and I hired *************************** the owner of Trust One Home Improvement on 4/29/2022 the first check of $ 32, ****** 05/02/2022. To complete a burn out with contract of approximate **********. **************** knew on the front there was already a lost and the money was limited for repairs and he agreed to take to job with the fund of approximately 130, ******. My wife and I made it very clear we had no extra monies to give other the approximately **********. We never agreed for pocket expenses from **************** also knew our time frame was limited and ensure that we be back in our home by 09/2022 and completed by 10/1/22. ****** was giving 5 different check that we signed over to him from our mortgage escrow account for payments and repairs. We released 2 check on 6/7/22.. ****** stated those 2 checks would cover the wiring, plumbing, insulation, etc. His subcontractor in process of wiring the home damaged our garage door by accident. I brought that to ****** attention he stated he wasnt aware yet his subcontract admitted he damaged. He agreed to replace it. We still dont a new garage door as of 10/9/22. 06/02/22 ****** also started with insulation and I requested for him not to put up sheet rock until I see all the installation, he installed the sheet rock anyway. At this point ****** began to ask for more money again and we became concerned we had just released 2 checks days 8 ago. Our mortgage company stated at this point there is a red flag by this time we should have more installed; flooring, cabinets, tubs, toilets, doors, interior paint, storm doors, HVAC, lighting, fireplace and other items. Theres No plumbing approval or power in the home as today 10/9/22. Everything was incomplete he only did so much work to get the next check released. ****** stated he spent an additional 27,****** out of pocket. As of 9/26 we only have Sheetrock, somewhat completed wiring and exterior paint. No one was on site for weeks at a time. Where are my materials? Please help.
