The work described in the invoice pic was completed on 6/28. I have spoken to them by phone and by text numerous times concerning the problem of the walkway being unlevel and unsuitable for walking on. This was the reason I needed the walkway. Im a widow in my 60s and expressed the need for stable footing. My son in law was here during the discussion. I questioned the use of gravel on the walkway and they assured me this would work for me. It might have, had the slope been leveled and had they used Timbers or 4x4s rather than 2x4s and rubber stakes! Their solution to the issue was to put longer stakes to keep the boards from leaning further and to reduce the wash over of the gravel. To me, this was not an acceptable solution. Contact has always been initiated by me, never them. They said theyd be out sometime between last Sat and Tuesday. Never heard from them. Contacted them and they said Thursday. Now it might be Saturday. Im only asking for a partial refund, the flower bed work was not the best, but its ok. My walkway is completely unusable and I will have to pay someone else to rip all of it out and start over. (Side note under part of the gravel this Lawn Service used black trash bags as a weed barrier in areas where they were out of landscape fabric. I dont think I was supposed to discover this.makes me wonder what else Ive missed.) The land leveling ( which is non existent) was $1700 and the pathway (that I do not feel safe to walk on) was $450. I have contacted 2 other individuals about this job and they have both been appalled at the shoddy work. I do hope that you can help me with this issue. Thank you.Business response

This letter should be sent to Di' ********************************; AKA DJ he is the contractor that served this client , his address listed is **************************; ******* ** 38016.
I locate jobs and provide contractors with a list of jobs for a fee , contractor does walk though before leaving to make sure all is okay once job is done and walk though was done and as mention from DJ client ********************; everything was good at the time of walk though. I really don't know what's going on , The contractor to reach out to for this information is above. Am not the contractor that provided this service.

The person that corrected the job has offered to assist with further details if necessary. I had 2 others look at this job and they were both appalled at the inexperience and lack of workmanship. This company was recommended by ****. Thank you for assisting me in this effort.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:DJ has only offered to place more stakes in the 2x4 walkway. The 2x4s he used are not ground contact approved. Something more appropriate for ground contact should have been used. This was not discovered until I (myself) was in the process of correcting his mistakes. The pebbles he used began washing over the leaning 2x4s with the first rain we had. The ground was not leveled at all. I tried to place pavers over the pebbles, but the pebbles barely covered the ground in some areas and in other areas the pebbles were 3-4 inches deep. This was supposed to be a firm level walkway per our conversation about my balance issues. The walkway was supposed to be stone, not pebble. I tried to make it work myself, but had to hire another company to fix his mistakes. This is only for the walkway. The flower bed was fine. I am only looking for a partial reimbursement.

I contacted her concerning this and when the resolution was to simply shore up the boards with stakes that would be above board level I let her know that I would be contacting the BBB. She apparently blocked my cell number as well as my work number. They are claiming professional lawn work, which this certainly was not.Customer response

I forgot to mention that *************** was aware of the situation as I was reaching out to her as well DJ, because he said that she would be responsible for a refund. I contacted her concerning this and when the resolution was to simply shore up the boards with stakes that would be above board level I let her know that I would be contacting the BBB. She apparently blocked my cell number as well as my work number. They are claiming professional lawn work, which this certainly was not.Customer response

I have responded this matter once , I have provided contact information of the contractor who provided service, I don't do lawn work , I have provided contractors address also , Please address this matter with the individual who provided services, wrong person
