This company promised to get rid of my bats. They showed up twice without making an appointment with me and then wonder why I'm at work and charge me srmervice calls and I still have bats! I want a refund or appointments set up to take care of my bat situation!Review from Caitlin L

This company is scamming people out of their money. BUYERS SERIOUSLY BE AWARE!!! ****** from all the reviews left on here and the one I'm about to leave. We paid Terminix for a service in full for $1670.00 in March of this year. Terminix of course came out to start the service right away so they could collect our money. We then followed up with them in two weeks (as we were told to in our contract and by the technician) Terminix then told us that they couldn't finish with our services because a bunch of technicians had just quit and they didn't have anyone to do the job. We asked for a refund many times and our calls, and emails were ignored over and over again. Just today our local branch manager FINALLY called after 3 months of being ignored/told they don't have any employee's to perform the services we paid for. I asked her for a refund and she refused, telling me that Terminix does not offer refunds ever for any circumstance. I'm sorry, but what company is legally allowed to get away with this? Terminix scammed my family and I out of $1670.00. I seriously hope that this review finds you in time before it happens to you to. Look elsewhere for pest services. It will be the best advice you ever got. In the meantime I will be seeking justice from this horrible horrible company.Review from Janelle T

Terminex has the practice, of intentionally, misleading its customers by selling false hope to customers! False **************** promises to cover any additional damages incurred, as long as you do your due diligence with keeping up with regular treatments. Misleading: HOWEVER, if you have termites prior to calling themyou do not qualify for this added coverage. This is NOT expressed, highlighted or a focus point when signing your agreement. All the steps were followed on my part. However, ******** dropped the ball on theirs.I have 7 bait traps on my property that should have been treated. For the entire term of my contract, Terminex would only treat 2. After numerous calls to Terminex expressing the incomplete work, with my issues going unaddressedmy home now has extensive damage!After speaking with officials from Terminex i am being told theyre not responsible because I didnt have the coverage that I did not qualify for anyway. I asked them how I would be compensated for all the years of incomplete service, of paying for 7 traps to be serviced and only 2 traps were? They answered, Because you dont have coverage we will not cover damages.I was promised, & I payed for 7 traps to be serviced, and because they only serviced 3. Traps 3 - 7 had extensive damage that ******** refuses to compensate me for.To be clear, I am not asking Terminex to honor the coverage aspects. I want compensation for years of paying for 7 traps, and was only serviced, for 2.DO NOT, NOT go with the ************ in *******, **!Review from Annette H

Very disappointed poor internal communication and customer service. Hired ********************** to spray. They could not reach the area. Technician called manager to inquire about using a ladder. No ladder policy but they continued to bill me. When I called to ask why they were still billing me Terminix canceled but charged me the cancellation fee.Terminix Response

This company is extremely unprofessional and has unacceptable behavior towards the customer. I had an appointment scheduled for a specific day and time window for an inspection and service to treat insect and other bugs. The inspector showed up extremely early and the service technician did not show up at all. I reached out to Terminix via the text message system and was told by ******** that, no service was scheduled for the day of my appointment that it was actually scheduled for another day that I didnt agree too. She said it wasnt in the system at all when I clearly have it in writing confirming my appointment date and time window. ******** was quick to let me know that if I cancel my service with Terminix I would owe over $1,300. Not agreeing with anything ******** said, I called Terminix and spoke with *********. She let me know that my appointment was in fact scheduled for the specific day and that she didnt know why ******** would say that it wasnt. The technician never showed up and did not notify me that he/she was not going to be able to make it. I requested a refund for this month and was told I could have a credit placed on my account. I was then told I couldnt have the credit for this month it would be for the next month. I was then told that a manager might reach out to me if my account could be credited. If they dont reach out then my account would not be credited. I was told by another representative, I didnt get his name that they can basically do whatever they want to customers because Im a new customer and if I cancel then I would have to pay over $1300. Which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional because being a new customer doesnt warrant mistreatment, bad customer service, and not sticking to the schedule thats agreed upon! I should in fact be able to get a refund and a credit to my account because of the bad business and unacceptable customer service and the way this ********************** handles business. The inspector showed up promptly to give me an estimate, but the scheduling department is horrible. It was an auto generated appointment with no time or technician. I left several messages for the scheduling manager and never got a call back. It took weeks just to be able to make a service appointment, which I ended up having to do through the inspector that came to my home. Finally got an appointment for 2:30pm. They showed up at 7:45am (good thing I was home) and I didnt receive the service I was quoted and billed for. I was told they spray, steam and vacuum the furniture and beds, but all they did was spray. I couldve done that myself. If I wouldve known that, I wouldve went with a different company for roughly the same price. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Youre going to lose a lot of business trying to save a buck with automated scheduling and nobody to talk to when theres a problem.Terminix Response

Worst company. Inconsistent with appointments and policies. I have waited and still waiting for purchases fence for my shed. There is currently a dead rodent or animal in cage with the skull showing.it is decomposing in my yard. This is the proof the company does NOT check cages daily.Terminix Response

I contacted them for a one time service. I was happy with the customer service. Next day, I received a messaged informing me they don't actually service my area only after a full 24 hours of making the appointment. I found this odd, as when I talked to them on the phone, they told me there was a deal for my area. I called to confirm this, and the woman I talked to was nice and confirmed the message saying that they don't service my area.Why allow me to schedule and set up an appointment if you don't even do my area? Along with the fact for emphasizing there's a special deal on top of it. It doesn't make sense or add up. It was extremely disheartening as I heard about their business from a fellow coworker who **** their praise and said they were good.Terminix Response

Terminex and SMAC FINANCIAL ARE THE WORSE DONT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM . TERMINEX USED THIRD PARTY PEOPLE TO PUT THE TENT ALSO THE TENT HAVE HOLES ALL OVER MEANING THE *** IS NOT DOING THE *** IN THE HOUSE. ALSO THE TENT WAS REMOVED FROM MY HOME WITHIN 6 HOURS AND I SPOKE TO ONE OF THEIR TERMINEX PERSON (REPRESENTATIVE) AND HE SAID TO ME THAT IT SHOULD BE REMOVED WITH IN 24HRS AND THIS NEVER HAPPENED. SINCE DAY ONE I STILL HAVE TERMITES. THEY TOOK THE MONEY BUT DIDN'T DO THE *** CORRECTLY. THE *** SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS AND DO SOMETHING BECAUSE THIS IS STEALING MONEYTerminix Response

I have tried to contact terminix over and over to solve this issue before I make a complaint I have been getting the runaround I was told I wouldnt get charged when I start my service back. They tried to charge me *********************************************************************************************************************** the price is gonna be $65 a month, then they tried to charge me $143 a month. I had a recording that it was $65 a month. They told me if I sent the recording in they would fix the problem. I have called them and I need my services and no one will get back in contact with me .This is the worst customer service ever. Ive been lied to several times and now theyre trying to make me pay for services that Im not receiving.theyre trying to make me pay for a price that wasnt told to me at first, so I just want to get out of the contract and go with someone else.Terminix Response
