On May 9,2022 ****** Lablanc was subcontracted through Lowes for dishwasher install that was purchased new from Lowes. ****** Lablanc came to home with appliance and ensured he could install the product after being educated that the dishwasher was hard wired under the crawl space. He stated he could work around this by breaking the tab on the outlet the disposal was plugged into and tap into that outlet which was only a half hot outlet. He stated he could do this after watching ******* video for instructions. After realizing he could not do this he called Lowes and stated because the dishwasher was hardwired under the crawl space that the consumer would need to contact and electrician first. He proceeded to leave the home without verifying this dishwasher worked but called and told Lowes he had completed the job. After he had left it was discovered by home owner that in the process of messing with the disposal the disposal was no longer working and this was due to him breaking the outlet in attempts to ***** rig the dishwasher. When he was confronted with breaking the outlet and leaving the disposal non-operable he stated "well you were going to have to call an electrician anyways right". Lowes install was contacted with the issue and they are attempting to resolve with customer. The dishwasher was left not installed although he told Lowes it was so he could receive the install payment and left property damage to the consumers home. Aside from this he left the kitchen is disarray with wood and dirt everywhere on the floor.
