Storydoor has not paid is for our property we agreed to sell. They kept reassuring us we would close on the 8th of January. We packed ip, ****** off uitilities, bought a new place where Storydoor rep ***** knew we needed the money from sell to move in. They have not inacted the clause to terminate, they neveelr backed out, we want our money so we can move They kept saying all waa fine. It wasntBusiness response

*******************, founder of Storydoor. Im sorry to hear of the experience youve had with us so far. Ive spoken with my team, and Im happy to elaborate on the situation.
According to the third-party title company we work with, there are title issues theyve been working through on your property that are outside of our control. Weve been ready and willing to fulfill our side of the contract and close, but we can only do so once the title issues have been cleared on your property. By law, no one, including us, would be allowed to complete the sale of your property until title issues have been cleared.
That said, as soon as the title issues have been cleared, we will close on your property.

I had an "AS IS" SELL by OWNERcontract with Storydoor. These folks PUBLISHED PHOTOS of MY HOUSE on the internet on MULTIPLE sites WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE/APPROVAL!!! These SCAM ARTIST, LIARS, NO CLASS COMPANY PUBLISHED the CONTENTS etc of my PRIVATE HOME WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!! I have NO CHOICE but to move now. MY PRIVACY has been INVADED and I DEFINITELY am NOT SAFE. These DECEPTIVE SCAM ARTISTS SHOULD BE ORDERED to PAY for the MOVE!!! If I wanted the world to KNOW MY BUSINESS I WOULD HAVE SHARED IT MYSELF!!! THERE IS NOT A FOR SALE SIGN or ANYTHING DISPLAYED in MY YARD. I HAVE BEEN VIOLATED AND I AM LIVID!!! LET'S TAKE PICS OF *****'S HOUSE, ****'S HOUSE, *****"S HOUSE and ******'S HOUSE on the web for the ***** to SEE!!! HOW would you DECEPTIVE, LYING, SCAM ARTIST UNPROFESSIONAL SO CALLED COMPANY LIKE THAT? I DEMAND you to PAY for MY MOVE IMMEDIATELY!!! You HAVE INVADED MY SPACE, BETRAYED MY TRUST in you and PUT ME IN DANGER and in ***** WAY!!! NOW. PEOPLE KNOW WHAT IS IN MY HOUSE THANKS to you DECEPTIVE, LYING, SCAM ARTIST!!! I apologize for any misunderstanding or distress caused by your experience with us. Weve helped hundred of homeowners over the past 3 years without a single complaint, so Id like to address yours:
In our contract review call you had with ***** where we reviewed the contract with you line-by-line, you may remember the ************* Clause. The ************* Clause in our contract gives us the opportunity to generate interest in the property before we close on the property with you and complete our renovations. That way, once we complete the renovations, we already have a list of genuinely interested buyers who are ready to purchase the property once the renovations are complete. Therefore, you did agree in writing to allow us to list your property. It is important to emphasize that we never meant to betray your trust or put you in any danger, which is why we take all of our sellers through a contract review call to review the contract together line-by-line to ensure all your questions are answered and you feel comfortable moving forward. We also encourage all our sellers to take the contract to a trusted third-party attorney to ensure you are comfortable prior to you choosing to move forward with us.
In light of your displeasure with our service and despite the unprofessional words you used with my team (see attached), we complied with your request to amicably and peaceably part ways by signing the Termination Agreement. Instead of choosing to pursue you legally to comply with the legally binding agreement that you signed to sell to us, we instead chose to follow Romans 12:18 and part ways amicably and peaceably. Therefore, in light of the Termination Agreement, where both parties have decided to amicably part ways, we are no longer legally bound to each other. As a result, we are unable to cover your moving expenses as you requested. I understand that this may not be the answer you were hoping for, and I am truly sorry for any disappointment it may cause.
Our focus is now on understanding what went wrong and making the necessary changes to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Once again, please accept my sincerest apologies for the pain you have endured. I understand that words may not be enough to ease your feelings right now, but I want you to know that we are taking this first complaint weve ever received in the three years weve been in business seriously, and we are committed to doing better.
