Customer Complaint
The BBB has received several complaints against Frayser Village Resorts from consumers contacted by a representative from the company and told that they had a buyer lined up to purchase the consumer's timeshare. In order to complete the sale, the consumer had to wire money to the company that they claimed paid for "title search" fees and "transfer taxes." The consumers sent the money and did not hear back from the company.
The BBB of the Mid-South sent the complaints to the Frayser Village Resorts by mail, but they were returned by the USPS. The address Frayser Village Resorts listed on their website when it was active is for the Frayser Village Shopping Mall. The BBB investigated and determined that there is not a company called Frayser Village Resorts operating in the mall.
If you are selling resort property or your timeshare and are approached by a company offering to help, contact the BBB, State Attorney General's office, and local consumer protection agencies in the state where the company is located to find out if complaints have been lodged against them.
