I purchased a set of Finalist A/T tires through *******.com 06/2021. The tires were purchased for my Ram **** which is still under warranty and has routine checks and services. I received the tires and had them installed locally at my ******* in ************** **. Driving around rural area where I live was fine, however a couple weeks after installation I took a trip to visit family in *********, ** (highway driving) at highway speeds the tires had a bounce like the were unbalanced. Once reaching my destination I took the vehicle to the local ******* in *********, ** and told them of the issues and had them rebalance the tires. They apparently just rotated the tires to the rear of the vehicle which made the bounce go away so I assumed the rebalance worked. Some time early this year 2022 I took the vehicle to the dealer for maintenance (exhaust issue) and servicing where they inspect all of the vehicle. During it's time at the dealer the tires were rotated back to the point that they were originally installed and the bounce came back. At this point I was less than a year at owning the tires and reached out to the manufacturer unicorn tire corp to see about getting the two at this point in time front tires replaced. They responded with an email that they were sorry to hear and gave me a list of things to collect (pics, receipts, and documents from the service center). Due to my Mil. status it took time to gather all information needed. However I provided to ***************** at unicorn tire all he needed. He the responded that the claim couldn't be completed because the mech mentioned irregular tire wear and was a mechanical issue with the vehicle not their tires. I spoke with the warranty supervisor and she advised to get better clarified documents from a service team. I went to the service center again and had tread depths taken and better notes that it is tire and not mechanical. The corp has since refused responsibility and will not accept my claim despite new documentsBusiness response

Subject: RE: Complaint 17426786Dear ********************,
Here is our response to Complaint 17426786. Please let me know if you have any questions.
************ reached out to us on 6/9/22 in regards to his tire issue. We responded that we were sorry to hear he was having issues with his tires and requested additional information. He did provide the technicians report from ******* which is attached and is quoted as:
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCING BOUNCING IN TIRES AND ASKED TO HAVE TIRES CHECKED AND DOCU TIRE TREAD FEELS ROUGH AND UNEVEN ON EDGES. FEELS SIMILAR TO CUPPING WEAR IN ROU TREAD IS JUST ROUGH ON OUTER EDGES AND LIKELY CAUSING RIDE COMPLAINT. TIRES WERE DIFFICULT TO BALANCE DUE TO ROUGH TREAD EDGES. ESPECIALLY TIRES ON RE TIRES ARE NOT EXCESSIVELY WORN DOWN ON EDGES AND DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE WEAR INDI TREAD DEPTHS FROM OUTER TO INNER TREAD MEASURES AS
PF. 10. 10. 10. 9. PR. 8. 8.5. 8. 9.
DF 9. 10. 10. 9. ****. 6.5. 6. 7.
TIRES DID BALANCE OUT IN THE END BUT TIRES ARE STILL RIDING ROUGH. NO SIGNS OF ALIGNMENT ISSUES. ROUGH TREAD DOES NOT SEEM TO BE CAUSED BY SUSPENSION.
As noted by *******, tires appear to be cupping on outer edge only. Causes of cupping are typically from an alignment issue and/or worn suspension components thus not covered by manufacturer warranty. We tried to explain that to ************ but he referred to the ******* notes.
******* notes that it doesnt appear to be an alignment issue because the tread depth is fairly even across the tread. While alignment issues are typically associated with either the inner or outer edge wearing faster, that is not always the case. Alignment consist of Camber, Caster, Toe, and Thrust angle adjustments and each effect tire wear differently. An alignment issue could also be one explanation as to why tires on one axle do appear to be wearing faster than tires on the other axle. ******* does not do alignments and is not qualified to assess an alignment issue.
They also note that it does not seem to be caused by suspension. ******* does not do suspension work and is not qualified to assess suspension issues.
As irregular tread wear is generally a result of alignment and/or suspension issues, it is not covered by our manufacturer warranty. It is recommended that ************ takes his truck to a shop that is qualified in alignments and suspensions.
Thanks and Best Regards,
