On July 2, 2024 I spoke with *********************, he said that I couldn't talk to anyone else above him that makes decisions. I told him I'm highly unsatisfied, almost every month this year they had to come back and respray my yard for weeds. And the guys that come out to spray was forgetting to spray inside of my gate. This was my last straw after I got my yard retreated last month for weeds, which left spots all over my yard going on 2 months. I asked for a refund for last month, which is about $46, Because I paid up for the whole year. He informed me he couldn't do that he would put it as a credit at the end of the year. Which means I will have to stay with them, which I don't want to. Since he couldn't refund for last month, I requested to cancel all future services and he said he couldn't do that either. I would like a full refund for the remaining of the year.Business response

I prepaid $563.35 in March 2022 for 5 rounds of ************* I canceled the service with two rounds remaining. I should have received refund for $225.34, but received refund check for $185.78 on 9/15/2022. There is a balance of $39.56 that needs to be refunded to me. The lady who answered the phone in September 2022 acknowledged that the company owes this balance and will talk to the accountant. But I never received the remaining balance. Since our last communication in September, the company phone is not being answered.The company needs to refund me $39.56.Business response

In May of this year, I saw that my mother's (************************* - a former veteran in the Army) grass had weeds that looked like cabbage all over her front and back yard. I called Southern Spray to inquire about having them to spray the yard. They visited the house and contacted me to let me know the price. I discussed the matter with my mom, and on May 26, my 90 year old mother paid $226.26 to Southern Spray for a year of service. Due to illness, my mother no longer resides at her home but she lives with me at my residence. Two weeks ago, I went to my mother's home and I was horrified by the appearance of her grass. It was covered with the exact same weeds that I saw in May when the service was initiated. I called Southern Spray and was told that someone would go out to check the property and get back with me. A week later, no one had gotten back with me. Last week, I went back to the house and I saw that still, nothing had been done. On Wednesday of this week, I called again and requested a call back from the manager of the company. The person who checked the record said that someone would be going out to check the property. I told them that this was what I'd been told two weeks ago and that now, I wanted to speak with the manager AND I wanted a full refund. To date, I have not received any calls from Southern Spray, nor have I been contacted about my mother receiving a refund. I tried calling them again today. While their voicemail indicates that they open at 8am, I called between 8am and 10am approximately 8 times and no one answered the phones.Business response

We hired Southern Spray to eliminate weeds, especially a weed grass that was taking over. A man came to give us a price, and said he'd come every 6 wks & we'd see results after the first spray, which was March 23. He left a $48 bill and said to call the office to pay. It took 2 calls & still no answer so I left my card # on the machine. I also asked if they'd call before they show up since we didn't want our dogs exposed to chemicals. The 2nd spray was May 17. The guy randomly showed up after I had called when he didn't come (or call) the day he was scheduled with me not to mention the dogs were out since we weren't expecting him! A week or two thereafter we complained because we still had a lot of weeds that didn't even seem affected, especially that grass we were struggling with. After a few phone calls, the guy came out and said he would up the treatment to every month. The third time he came was June 24. They left a bill of $48.67. A few weeks passed and we STILL had those weeds growing as strong as ever, so I sent a bunch of pictures to his phone and left him a few messages but he never returned the calls! After 3 attempts I was angry. I then left a message to cancel service since I couldn't make contact with anyone and because the weeds remained healthy! I also asked to reverse the last charge. This was back in August! Never heard from him again... until I received a collection notice dated October 15!! When I called the number listed, the one who answered was actually from Southern Spray. He was extremely defensive, would hardly let me talk, absolutely did not listen to my story and said "you didn't give it enough time to work." Why would I continue service?? After 4 months we certainly didn't see the results expected, they were completely undependable AND impossible to reach!! I asked them to reverse the charge because I didn't feel they earned it. Southern Spray is impossible to work with. Please help resolve this conflict.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/06) */ Customer started her lawn treatments in April 2021. New customers are told that getting weeds out of the yard is a process and that they will not go away over night. Mrs said she was told they would go away after the first application. Neither I nor the tech. who serviced her yard told her that. Mrs stated that she called first on July 24th according to her note on the invoice, which was 3 weeks after her 3rd treatment. We have no record of any contact until Nov 18th. Mrs is correct we sent her to ************************ for non-payment. Southern Spray feels that we should be paid for services rendered.
