This company added freon on August 9th 2022 to my system when it had a leak. The owner returned and apologized and added more freon 4 or 5 more times all the while promising to fix tje problem under warranty. He ordered $1000 coil against my warranty and it appears to be damaged and he left it on my driveway and refuses to install it or return the damaged coil. He said "it's yours, take it back".Business response

This is ****** with Precision heating and air responding to ********************* complaint
On July 9 2022 on my employees when to ********************* house for a call on unit not cooling. Upon inspection found unit to be low of refrigerant and unit to be dirty. He cleaned the unit and addded 3 lbs of 410a refrigerant. The bill totaled $384. Which was payed by ****
Around the time of May 17 2023 I received a call from **** stating that his unit was not cooling again. I went out and again found that the unit was low of refrigerant. I searched for a leak on this day but was unable to find it. So I added the refrigerant. **** was not charged for this service
Around April 1 2024 we went out to **** again. We found the unit low of refrigerant.
We found the leak in the condenser coil. Also no charge to Shaw
I called Lennox warranty on this day trying to get his parts covered under warranty. ****** told me they would call me back when they were able to file the claim warranty. After many call with them and no progress. I ordered and paid for the coil for out my own pocket
We received the coil around the time of May 3 2024 and scheduled its install for *** 13 due to the rain we had to reschedule for *** 15
He proceeded to text my office lady message stating that he would *** if the coil was not install on *** 15. I dont take well to treats so I called and told him that I would deliver the coil that I paid for (not his warranty) and refund his money for $384 that he paid in 2022
May 13 I sent him a check thru certified mail for $384 dollars on May 15 we delivered the coil to his house in the same condition we received it from ******.
So this man has a coil that was free to him and I returned any money that he has ever paid.

Several months ago I paid Precision heat & air $2,500 for a new central air unit. Since then we have decided to sell our house. So I called Precision heat & air and let them know we would need our money back. I also explained that I understood if there was a restocking fee and I was sure it wouldn't be more than $500, *********************** told me he would get back with me. I've tried several times to call him and so has my wife, he will not answer our calls. If you could help ** with this matter I would appreciate it. We just want our money back nobody can afford to just give away $2,500 .Business response

Due to the efficiency standard changes that occurred January 1 2023. I can no longer return the A/C system. The $2500 was just a deposit, not covering the full amount of the system. The entire system can be bought for an additional $500 or I can give the you the A/C Condenser and Coil but not the Furnace for the $2500 you have already paid.

I am rejecting this response because: We are just going to take him to court. He told the bbb it was only a deposit, then if its a deposit as he's calling it we want what he calls a deposit back.
