      They had me spray water at customers homes. Because and I quote " we have ran over our budget for the month so you will have to deal with the recalls on your own time."

      Inman Murphy has been in business for over 24 years and we have built this company on Integrity and great customer service. We have never instructed any technician to spray water only or do anything unethical. I feel this comment from a prior employee is not anyway a reflection of this company or any current employee.

      Inman Murphy came out on 7-26-23 for my yearly termite inspection/treatment prevention my husband was home he said they didn't do anything they were there may 5 minutes. I called them had to leave vmail for termite manager to call me back no one ever called my husband called left 2-3 vmails also. the next day they automatically took the $219 payment off my card that I did not authorize. I called them again the lady who answered the phone was very rude & said the techs that came said that they were there for 30 minutes & did treat my my house I told her my husband was *********** didn't do anything she said the only thing we can do is send them back out & have them treat it again, I told her ******* husband both have left vmails for the manager to call us. she was very argumentative with me & said she would give him the message. it has been over 1 ********* still haven't heard anything. so now I am out $219 & no termite prevention/treatment & no response from them.

      I have reviewed the complaint and feel their has been a communication breakdown on our part and do apologize for that.  We have GPS units on all trucks and the technician was at the property from 11:13 am to 11:32am which is enough time to do the service. It is a visual inspection and we apply a form of pesticide granular or liquid as a courtesy to the customer. I do feel like the service was performed correctly . We value every customer and have for over 22 years, I have credited the amount back to the customer. I hope this will satisfy the complaint.

      I did accept it. When I got the email from you the credit was not in my checking acct, I looked again about 1 hour later & the credit/refund showed up.

      In November of 2022, we detected a few cockroaches and waterbugs in our kitchen, we had Inman Murphy come and appraise the situation. We selected the quarterly plan, which would include an initial spray, with quarterly follow **** The house was treated Dec 3rd, and they advised that we might see bugs for a few more weeks. By Christmas we were seeing far MORE insects, and could not even lay out a Christmas buffet. We called and were told that it was not uncommon, and that the tech would return. He did call, and we arranged for a "booster" treatment, but by the time that day arrived, my wife had contracted the flu. The tech DID return March 3rd for the quarterly, but 3 weeks later, I killed ten roaches today alone. The infestation is FAR worse than when they were called, and all I get is excuses for WHY I now have roaches throughout my home. I have contacted another exterminator, who has assured me that the bugs will be greatly reduced, if not undetectable by next month, and that 3 months is completely unacceptable. I do agree with that, which is why we didn't pay for that quarterly visit, We are still out the $140 we paid in December, which doesn't seem right. I ended up buying multiple cans of Raid, which, of course only subdued them briefly. I look forward to getting rid of them, the way ***** did 5 years ago.

      The original service for general pest with a few roaches was completed on December 5,2022. It appears through notes made in our system that ************* called for a recall service sometime in January of 2023 and that service was cancelled due to a sickness in his household and appears there was not any contact until the next quarterly service that  was due in March. That service was completed on March ,6 2023. The service was never paid for and has been noted ************** was contacted several times through emails and paper that he had a balance. He did respond that his wallet had been stolen and he would pay after returning to *******. That service was not paid for and we did credit the account so he would not be liable for it. I am the Branch Manager and I never have spoken with ************** concerning any of his issues. I feel we did our part the best we could, and attempted to reservice the house after initial visit and it was cancelled. Any pest control company should tell you that a ***** problem can not be  fixed with one service and and it can very easily get out of hand quickly. i feel like if the communication had been better between both parties this would have been cleared up. I have credited his account for the last service of $96.00 and I feel that is sufficient, however, I will look into crediting the $140.00 that was paid last year. It was charged in 2022 so I may not be able too, but I will try. If it is possible to do so, I will reach out to ************* by email to notify him that the credit was applied. Thank You

      I am rejecting this response because:the fact remains that the insect problem grew progressively WORSE throughout that entire time. The January call which was "cancelled due to illness" involved the tech showing up without calling ahead, and the cancellation was for THEIR benefit. I am so thoroughly disgusted/disappointed with Inman Murphy at this point, that words cannot do justice to my emotions. We did not pay for March, since the problem was far worse than it was in December. We had Cooks come out in May, they sprayed, and the bug problem decreased dramatically after just the 1st treatment. As for the difficulty with the December payment being made in 2022, that just doesn't make sense.
