I saw an advertisement for a free exam & clicked the button. Was called & they setup an appointment with me, I came in filled out my medical history & basic info provided my insurance. It was a new office that just opened up (maryville location) no other clients were inside & they said that because they just opened. They seemed excited to have me in to kinda practice & while I was there it seemed like they were training & explaining amongst themselves.I had one on one time with the therapist & he was very nice & though. It took like an hour, when I was done with the session & about to leave I was told that I owed $100! For my FREE examination.I was shocked & confused, never warned I had stepped outside of the free exam.I was very uncomfortable with this discovery and felt pressured to just sign & agree to pay the bill so I would be allowed to leave. It was a very difficult situation I was put in and I just wanted to go so I just did whatever I was told to do so I could go.I didn't want to ever go back there again & then a month later I get EMAILED invoice with a $0 balance for that visit and they charged me $5 to email me something I didn't request! I had the original. I called told them I didn't ask for that and I'm not paying for an email don't email me. They have sent me the same email next month with another $5 charge for an email. I have requested that they stop again. I call & tell them that I am upset with how it went & tell them all the above and they say they will get back to me.Nobody calls back.I get a txt from them trying to schedule me for another appointment I tell them I'm not going back & to stop contact & stop emailing me.This happens a few more times & then stops. Then I get a new bill saying insurance didn't pay & they want me to pay another $100+ e-mail fees we only had an agreement (that I was pressured to do) for $100 which I have a copy.they sent me to collections and it hits my credit without any notice or chance to dispute beforehand.
