      Horrible experience! My mom and me just went here she had an appointment between 1-2 and we waited over an hour before her car was checked ! Then when I went up to check on it ,Nicole at the counter had an attitude and said "I told her that her appointment wasn't until 2" the dude finally came back and told my mom what was wrong with it . Then he said give him a min and hed give us a price well we waited for another 20 mins and then my mom went up there to get her keys and the dude still didn't have the price figured out I got the keys from her as she was talking and as I walked out the door she was waving her hands for me to leave !!! Then when I called to speak to a manager I got told he's in break this l l leave message

      Johnson city location Myhusband and I took our car here to get it aligned. we dropped it off and finally got a call that we could pick it up 11 days later. they "removed and replaced" a control arm, a part that we had JUST replaced thats why we needed an alignment, our bill was ********  when we picked the car up we had to ask 2 or 3 different people for a piece to our car that was missing, and my husband had a very hard time getting it home without wrecking (its 5 miles). my husband had someone else look at the car because in about 20 miles it needed a new tire and they couldn't believe anyone would 1 leave the ENTIRE suspension loose underneath the car (which explains why he almost wrecked multiple times) and 2 why they bent the part we JUST REPLACED before taking it there. so now I'm out ******* to them + *** for a new tire (that had a new tire on it) + ANOTHER new control arm & labor and the labor to tighten the suspension back. my husband called and talked to someone and told him that we had taken the car somewhere and they told us how lucky we are that we didn't wreck and his response was "hmmm I don't know what's wrong with my alignment guy" no I'm sorry or anything. we asked if they were going to refund us the money for the removal and replacement of the control arm and he said "well no" I'm beyond furious about this. they took my money, and cost me at least ***** more, and could have caused someone to be seriously injured. this is not a good way to run a business. I will NEVER go back to them and will tell everyone to stay far away

      I'm so sorry for the extraordinarily bad service you received. We are mailing you a check for the total of $334.73! We've been in business for 71+ years and this is not in accordance with our Mission statement!

      This is for the Talbott location. Has new tires put on in June 2021, paid extra for protection plan. I found a nail in my tire, and had to take it closer to my house to get it plugged. Next day, I found it flat again, and the place the plugged it showed me another hole. I then took the tire to Porter's to replace, they "repaired." I went to pick it up, and it was flat again. Porter's said I needed a new wheel, but the other place had already shown me the other hole. Porter's argued about it, then informed me to take ANOTHER tire off my car and bring it, so they could verify it wasn't the wheel. Took another half day off work to do this, was told it was the tire. They had to order the tire, said it would be ready the next day after lunch, and they would call. Never heard from them, so I called and they couldn't find the wheel. After waiting for 20+ minutes, they finally found it. Got a price over the phone of 39.95, and went to pick it up and it was $55.16. I also had to pay a mounting fee even though it was Porter's mess up! Very disgusted with the way they handled this. I will NOT be bringing any of my personal or business vehicles back to them again.
