      I called them out to look at my refrigerator on April 22nd. The tech (***) said it was manufactured by ** and diagnosed the problem as a control board and that he could get the part to fix it. At the time, the refrigerator section was still working, but the freezer was not getting cold enough. I paid them $***** by check. Since I was about to go away on vacation I scheduled with the company to have them come out to replace the part on May 2nd. I was told someone would be out between *am and **pm. I was even provided a written quote for the part, via email. When I got back from vacation on April 30th, the refrigerator section had also stopped working and we ended up having to throw away most of what was in there. On May 2nd, I worked from home waiting on someone to arrive. When nobody arrived by **:**, I made several phone calls that afternoon with the office manager to inquire on the status. The lady did not know why no one (***) showed up and was also having trouble reaching him. At around ****pm, I finally got a call from someone saying they didn't work on ** refrigerators, so that is why no one showed up. I asked why I never I was called in advance to let me know this, especially since I was given a quote and a scheduled appointment time and all I got was an "I'm sorry". I then had to call another company to come out, pay them a service charge, just to be told that it was actually the compressor that needed replacing. Had the prior tech diagnosed the compressor was actually the culprit, I could have at least made plans to move my food to another refrigerator before going on vacation. I have since made at least 3 different calls into the company asking for a refund, only to be told each time that they would look into and call me back, which they haven't done.

      My complaint is about deceptive practices with this company. I talked to a technician on the phone about my ******* Refrigerator. He seemed knowledgeable, so I scheduled a time for him to come out. I told him all the problems we were having with temperature fluctuations, etc. He came out on July 16th, 2021. He opened the fridge and told my wife that there is a class action lawsuit for this refrigerator. He said it would cost $****** to repair and he required 1/2 $****** up front. That day my wife and I researched the class action lawsuit only to find out that it is a DEFECT and NOT repairable. They had to have known this when I gave them the make, model, and all the information about the ******* fridge. They should have never come out knowing that is it not repairable! The same night the technician came out, I called and canceled the repair. They still cashed our check 3 days later. We have been trying to get our money back ever since. We keep getting the run around! They owe us$******
