Had an abcess tooth, and had pain I’m my 2 back molars. Went in for the pain for a visit for the pain, granted I just had a yearly exam and the abcess was never caught. I was told they had to send me to a specialist to find out what was wrong with the teeth because I wanted them pulled. They sent me to an endodontic specialist office. Which they identified what teeth need to come out and they were the one that spotted the abcess. Went back under the impression that my dentist would then pull the teeth. They pulled one, but we’re refusing to pull the other because they kept pushing and pressuring for a crown. I was gonna do the crown until I realized that my insurance was maxed out and I would have to pay it out of pocket along with 2 cavities “They say” so for me the cheaper option would be to pull the tooth and just fill the cavities. I canceled my root canal appointment because they said they would pull my teeth. They call me back saying they were canceling the appointment and they’ll have to refer me to an oral surgeon. Now everything I have to get done will be out of pocket because they maxed me out on exams. I feel they milk your insurance company and then make you pay more on top of what your insurance won’t cover in the end. Feel robbed

June 2023 Several issues with Davis Dentistry possible HIPPA Communication No treatment options for hurting tooth Pushed into signing treatment form by front office with lady from next door business sitting in waiting area The dentist would not offer any other treatment options for back tooth hurting except a bridge with costs of 1484 and pushed for recrowning old crown with slight margins 505 total 2000 The insurance girl reviewed treatment options in waiting area with a girl that walked in waiting in the area from the next door business The insurance girl and receptionist stated that the dentist would not consider any other options I asked for crown or to pull it or anything and each said he would not consider a flipper or an implant which would cost even more I was frustrated with this process so I signed the form as declining treatment as I could not afford the 2000 The insurance girl continued to push for financing with care credit or sunbit She continued to schedule appointment six months out i was embarrassed as they talked about procedures and prices and financing in front the of the girl waiting in the front waiting area. I texted after leaving if they would give me the cost of pulling the tooth There was no reply I was left to search for a dentist that would help me with consultation charges of 65 to 153 dollars I went to another ***** as they are able to fit you in and give lost cost xray exam They were worse than Davis Dentistry as they did not assess tooth but referred me to endodontic with costs of 367 dollars for consultation and 19 for addl xrays with end goal of root canal As a month went by the tooth started to fall apart on one side I found a dentist that could give me a deep assessment He took a picture of it with scope and a deep xray He was able to fill it as it was not badly decayed but just close to the nerve costs were 83 dollars I am sad and I was scared to have gone thru this and it could have been worse for me

Very high turn over of personnel in the office at the Murfreesboro North location. Extremely unorganized and there is a lot of confusion as it relates to past, present and future procedures that have or need to be performed even after appointments are made for said procedures. They have lost personal files, documents and dental hardware supplied to them by myself for procedures to be performed and all they can say is sorry we lost them. I do not recommend this revolving door of a dentist office.
