    I requested to rent their vehicle for several hours for a community event we were having. I assumed the quote I was given was exactly what I asked for. I was given no other options to choose from & paid $500 for the "50 cup package" ($10.00 per cup) and assumed the truck would show up on time (it didn’t, it was late and I had to text and call asking where it was) and leave when the 50 cups had been given out. When you pre-pay for a specific amount of something you expect to get that specific amount right? WRONG! These people will only stay in your location for THIRTY MINUTES. It doesn't matter if you pre purchased 1 cup or 14,765 cups...you better have your people lined up waiting in the blazing hot sun before that truck arrives or else you won't get what you paid for and will be extremely disappointed like we were. You should have seen the look on the kids faces when they arrived AFTER the stupid truck took off. I wanted to cry I felt so bad for them! When I asked for a refund for the difference in what was given out vs. what we pre-purchased, I was told a resounding NOPE. In fact, I was told communicating with Kona Ice of Middle Tennessee was harassment and to stop asking for a refund because I would get nothing from them. How completely unprofessional and what horrible customer service! I am actually dumbfounded at the lack of professionalism of these people and can’t believe they are still in business. Instead of trying to come to an acceptable solution they tell their unhappy customers to stop communicating with them because it’s considered “harassment”! Here's the best part…a day after the harassment email I was sent an email from them asking me to give them a review. Hummmmm…..who’s harassing whom now? Welp, you asked for it so here you go. My truth is as follows: Don't waste your time or money on these people they will just rip you off and you will be left to deal with sad children who were promised shaved ice but were turned away empty handed.
