  I have reached out to customer service wanted to know did they received warranty ciaim filled out on line.Made several attemps no call back . Hopefully the dealer can get them to response.

  I'd give 0 stars if possible. Our experience has been a disaster from the start. We purchased an 8x12 shed from Dave, a dealer in southern Maine, who promised delivery within 10 days of signing the papers on March 17th. We paid two months upfront for a basic, stock model. Which according to them is a "CUSTOM ORDER" which it is NOT* Instead of a smooth process, we dealt with a hassle between Dave and the delivery driver, Dan. We had to contact Old Hickory Corporate to report the issues. Today (April 4th), the shed was delivered around 9:30. We clearly marked the ground where we wanted it placed, but the driver went UP the YARD instead of the DRIVEWAY, he almost got stuck, & claimed he couldn't move it to the desired location. He eventually dropped the shed next to our dumpster, stating he'd move it later, and IF we had ANY issues to call him right back & he'd come back to fix it. We tried to call him back 10 minutes after he left & were told "He is out of the area". We're now waiting for corporate to contact us to resolve this mess, which involves both delivery and dealer issues. Extremely disappointed and frustrated with the entire experience. NEVER AGAIN! DON'T get sucked into their scheme like we did!

We've been informed by our Area Manager that you have opted to not return the shed and to leave it in its current position after we offered to send the driver back to move it.   Got our 12 x 28 garage delivered yesterday. We had great experience from sales to delivery. We were updated and they called before delivery and every thing was smooth. The shed is beautiful and can’t wait to fill it up. The driver was so good and he took great care and he leveled the shed so the doors open easy and we even found some touch nut pain inside the shed which was a nice touch. Thank you Old Hickory for making this transaction very pleasant.

  I purchased 10 x 12 in May 2024 and I have to wonder why I waited,great build quality,pest control is amazing and so far it can take a beating from a very cold Canadian winter.Delivery was professional and right on time and yes if I needed another there's no question Old Hickory is the only choic

  We recently purchased an 8x12 shed in New Mexico and the whole purchasing process was quick and easy. They also delivered my shed the same day. The shed looks amazing. The driver was very professional and placed the shed exactly where I wanted it. The whole installation took less than 20 minutes. I highly recommend this company.

  Just Purchased a shed from Old Hickory Buildings from a dealer in Waterville, Maine. I was very happy with Zach and the transaction went through very smoothly and he was great to work with. When it came time to have the shed delivered, his brother Nick was a real pro at setting up the shed and placed it perfectly where I wanted it. I was extremely impressed at how he used the Mule to unload the shed and then pull it down the driveway, very professional and would use him again. I did look at other dealer sheds in the area and thought Old Hickory Sheds were very well built and they used good materials. I hope I have better luck with my new shed than other reviews here, as so far so good for me. I will leave another review after I have it for some time as mine is only a few days old.

  Shed appeared ok when purchased. I let it sit for a month or so because I had other projects going. Then when I went to insulate it and put flooring down. There was a hump in the center of the floor and the back wall/side appears to be falling or sagging. I was told that I had moved the shed which I did not touch the shed since leveled by the delivery guy. Again I was called a liar over and over! The guy that came to look at the problem with the leaky doors and the floor and the sagging wall was the rudest representation for a company that I have dealt with in all my 67 years. I want my money back or the problem resolved correctly immediately. No resolution at this time.

  Dear *** ****, After extensive review of your case, Old Hickory will be picking up this shed and replacing it with a new build. We believe the driver will be picking it up today since he is in the area. The new build will be done within a few weeks, although I haven't been given an exact ETA. Regarding the driver you spoke with, it's our understanding that when he visited...you asked him for his professional opinion for how the issues could have developed. In his experience as a driver (not a builder), he thought it could have happened by moving the shed...which is true. But in following up with this driver, he assured us that he did not mean to imply that you were lying...only that moving the building was the only potential cause of the issue that he was aware of. That said, our construction experts have said there's no way to really know how it happened, so they want to replace the shed for you with a new one.   I stopped by many local dealerships while shopping for a storage building. While viewing their buildings in person on the lot, I saw that Old Hickory buildings are of good quality and craftsmanship. Before any large purchase, I always research as much as possible to make an informed decision. After reading the many negative reviews for Old Hickory on BBB, I nearly did not follow through with a purchase. I am glad I went with my instinct and purchased a 12x20 building from them! The experience was pleasant; everything went flawlessly from the initial order to delivery and set up. The sales rep was accommodating and worked with me to ensure I got what I wanted, from the exterior color to the optional add-ons. The estimated lead time was spot on! My building was delivered today, and it is beautiful. Jeremiah, the delivery driver, was very friendly and even worked with me to resolve a scheduling conflict. He set up the building promptly and got it perfectly level. Old Hickory is a professional company, and I do not understand all of the negative reviews. I can't speak for any warranty claims, and I hope I never need to, but thus far, my experience with them has been quite positive.

It's rare to get a positive review on the Better Business Bureau as it seems to be a place where people only complain. ****** Reviews are probably a better representation of the overall experience our customers have doing business with us. While we do have some warranty issues on occasion...it's fairly rare and it's also why we have a warranty...so that we can make things right if something about the build or the materials fell below our standards (or sometimes damage occurs during delivery). We sell thousands of sheds and storage buildings nationwide every year...so the handful of negative reviews and complaints are a tiny fraction of the total number of buildings built and sold. We wish people could hear more from our satisfied customers, so we appreciate you taking the time to write your review...especially on the BBB!! We hope you enjoy your building!!   What started out to be a good purchase, quickly turned into a disaster. Workmanship became very obvious after deliver, improperly installed doors allowed Monsoon Storm rains to leak in and no response for warranty work. Then came their inside financing *** ******** ******* screwing up the first payment date to now after one missed payment, they are threatening repo of a building they from the start was going to used as a tony home, stating I wasn't allowed to make modifications. Both Old Hickory and *** ******** ******* are some of the rudest people to attempt to work with on any resolution.

Our repairs team has contacted the local shop that's responsible for the repairs to let them know the repair needs to be scheduled immediately. It should have already been done, so we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. A representative from the shop should be in contact with you soon to schedule this. Regarding the Rent-to-Own payment and your comment about making modifications to your building...please contact *** ******** ******* as they are the lease holder and therefor own the building until all Rental Payments are made. Typically, modifications are not permitted on rental buildings because the customer doesn't own them until the building is paid off. Old Hickory Buildings & Sheds is the manufacturer of the building and handles the cash sales only.
