I had roof damage from the recent storms here. I called Roofing right as I have used them once before without issue. Today they sent a guy out to what I thought was an estimate on my roof for repair and possible replacement. When he arrived he didn’t come talk to me. He just put his ladder up and went on my roof. While he was up there he pulled off several rows/ sheets of shingles. When I went out to talk to him he wasn’t able to talk to me. He did not speak English. I asked him what the extent of the damage was. He was only able to point to his camera and show me pictures. He just smiled and pointed and spoke in Spanish. At some point he called the owner and he told me they could repair it for $750 dollars today or put a tarp up for $250 and wait for insurance to decide if they will either cover the replacement or pay for a new roof. And if insurance wouldn’t cover it I would have to pay the $750 for the repair in addition to the tarp. I said let me call my insurance company. But while I was looking up info I decided that is ridiculous to charge that much for a tarp. I called a friend who connected me to another roofer. That roofer told me it is insurance fraud to remove damaged shingles before insurance sees the damage. I also never authorized removal. I only wanted an estimate before any work being done. I will never use them again. I just want others to be aware. The owner did call me back. He just said that those shingles were damaged and they can’t be put back. I told him I no longer wanted his company to fix my roof.

Regarding the removal of the damaged shingles, it was not intended as fraud. We simply took the initiative to remove shingles that were already torn off by the wind, which we believed would benefit you and we shared pictures with you as evidence.

We respect your decision to go with another roofing company and did not pressure you and left as per your request. I understand your disappointment, but I want to clarify that we have always maintained a commitment to providing quality service.
