Their process from day 1 is purely consultative, and they have specialists to provide guidance for each aspect of the registration and filing process, in accordance with state and federal regulations. Their system is simple to use, their process is proven, and communication to and from various staff, is handled very timely, clearly and exactly. Warning. Avoid! As a small family charitable foundation, We rarely find ourself in the business of writing reviews. We have also had positive interactions with foundation group in the past--successfully seeking their services to incorporate and file for our primary organization. However, The Foundation Group is either under new management or has seriously lost its way. We have persistently and repeatedly attempted to seek fulfillment of services paid for, but after delays and excuses, are finally told that "too much time has elapsed" for the The Foundation Group to fulfill their paid-for contract, and are instead being referred to purchase a new package. Attempts to contact the director are summarily dismissed and ignored. The prior excellent employees have all been hired and recent hires, such as Cameron F** must have been hired straight from a used car sales lot; given his lack of integrity and aggressive sales bent. Do yourself a favor and choose legal zoom or any reputable tax consultancy instead.

******** was unhappy with our well-founded and reasonable decision in his case and has chosen to complain. His original service contract with us for nonprofit formation was over five years ago. Considerable progress had been made toward completion of that goal, including the preparation of incorporation documents and work toward 501c3 status. ******** simply disappeared mid-process and did not respond to outreaches from our team for over a year, at which point we no longer attempted to contact him. He came back this year, 5 years later, wishing to "pick up" where he left off. That's not possible. All legal work done prior would have to be redone from scratch. His business plan had changed, and more importantly, both state and federal regulations and procedures have changed substantially. We offered to help him start over, using what had been paid before as a partial payment toward new service. He insisted he need not pay anything additional, despite our explanation that this was a complete do-over by necessity, and that we were in fact providing new service at a significant discount. Unfortunately, that disagreement has resulted in accusations of "used car sales" team members and other baseless statements. Despite his unfair depiction of the situation here to the BBB, as well as on social media, we in good faith returned to ******** a refund of over 1/2 of his original 2015 service fee to us, something we did not have to do. We wish him well.
