1 starI hired MyBaseGuide to manage my advertising for **** air force base, and their performance has been nothing short of fraudulent. Their dashboard data shows phone calls with “unknown” phone numbers—how does that even make sense? After asking them to improve tracking and transparency, ALL calls mysteriously stopped as of November 3rd, 2024. That’s over three months with zero results despite continued payment. This isn’t just bad service—it’s deceptive business practices. They provide false or misleading data and fail to deliver on promises. Whenever I complain about the lack of performance, they just remind me how many months I have left under contract, as if I should “hang in there” while they deliver nothing. Thank goodness I negotiated them down to a 6-month contract, because they initially pushed hard for a full year. I can’t imagine being locked into 12 months of this level of incompetence and deceit.Review fromDezaraé H

How do you report this company? Have been charging for 6 months past my 12 month contract. (Which i got zero leads). Contract was 12 months. I spoke to someone asked to cancel. I sent emails asked to cancel. I put a block on cc and disputed charge, they get around that. The number on their receipt is non working number. This is a nightmare. Now they are charging $350 and this month I got charged $700. Anyone have advice to help against these scams?Review fromJessica J

What a scam. They sent me an invoice for a contract that expired 6 months ago and then Melissa the rep I spoke with was rude and unprofessional and used profanity towards me and refused to look (another rep did) to even confirm it was a mistake. Then she said I needed to give them a 30 day notice for the contract to be terminated.MyBaseGuide

1 starCannot reach anyone now that my contact is ended. Money still being deducted. Every number I call based on the website, is unavailable. When I called those same numbers the day prior, I received a message stating we are busy with other clients, but leave a call back number and will get back with you. Of course, that never happened. This company is an insult to our military and those who served or are serving to protect our Country to be taken advantage of in such disrespect. This Company needs to be Investigated and removed from existence before taking advantage of more unsuspecting customers seeking legitimate assistance with their businesses.Review fromCHELSEA D

1 starIt's a huge scam. I did not have not even one patient walk through my door from them but they are eager to threaten you with collections. They basically say you signed a contract so you are *** but you have to pay us. Horrible service all the way around!Review fromDarius J

1 starDon’t fall for the sales pitch. It’s very good but over promises. I’ve never received one phone call or txt from a prospective lead. Zilch, bada, zero. They put you in a 12 month contract with no cancellation. So they get their money regardless. It’s a worthless marketing proposition. Put your money into something where you can at least get a real lead, a name, a email address, a phone number. I’m so looking forward to when this contract ends. I realize I just threw money out the window. Live and learn. Skip mybaseguide.Review fromJodi W

My Base Guide is a joke. While the rep, Jason, I have been working with is a nice guy, he doesn't understand the marketing world of the industry that I am in. Just this last month I supposedly had over 2700 "clicks" on my ad campaign, yet only 3 phone calls to my business. That just does not make any sense. I should have at least gotten a .5% turnaround. But like many others have said on here, I got the "well we can't promise... yada yada yada...." I really believe that My Base Guide is just a scheme out to take small businesses money at the expense of those who want to help and/or benefit those who serve our Country. These people really need to be shut down. Unfortunately, I am locked into a contract with them until November of this year, and have to set a reminder for myself to send an email to cancel it so it does not automatically renew. This just reminds me to ALWAYS READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND THE FINE PRINT.MyBaseGuide

MyBaseGuide is currently working with this customer as promised for optimization on her current campaign. There is no supposedly when it comes to the number of clicks received during this ad campaign. That is a factual number. MyBaseGuide has setup a dynamic and customized ad campaign targeting our specific audience. MyBaseGuide has never made any guarantee to this customer that is not currently being delivered on. The data presented to this customer shows the interaction and that we are driving individuals directly to her website and business. A click can mean an array of different things. Once a person clicks on your ad that we are running, they are sent straight to your own personal website & your profile on MyBaseGuide. They can then read about your services, see your offers, and make a decision such as, email, phone call, save information for later, or compare to others in the industry. Our job is to provide our audience with options available to them so that they can make the best decision for themselves and their families when doing business. As we continue to meet with this client, we will continue to optimize and drive potential customers to this business. If this customer is wanting more phone calls from this ad campaign, MyBaseGuide will work appropriately to drive as many customers her way as we can. To say that MyBaseGuide is a joke or a scheme because you want more traction from an ad campaign is completely unfair when we are delivering the results that we promised we would. At no point, did her dedicated point of contact say we wouldn't continue to work with you when it comes to driving end of funnel results. What we said is that we cannot guarantee that X number of people that saw your ads will pick up the phone and dial. In this customer's industry, 3 phone calls in a month from this type of ad campaign are actually good numbers. If you have any information, emails, or communication aligning with your statement that we are not delivering the promised results, please provide them so that there is transparency into your claims.Review fromRobert B

Seems like a bit too much business and set up for the fee structure, with little to no guarantees for results. $20;=$60k is a lot to invest without having examples of financial success to back it.MyBaseGuide
