These people are rip-off artist. If I could give this review a .5 star rating instead of a 1 star rating, I would. Their website is pretty good in that applying for insurance is pretty easy, but please don't let that fool you. Jupiter Insurance works through a Broker called ******** Insurance, however when you add the fees the Broker charges to the insurance it is not really cheap. As a matter of fact you are better off with a reputable, name brand Insurance company than you are with this company. After getting into 2 accidents in 2020, due to health reasons my regular insurance shot up to the roof. After about 1 year of paying through the nose, I decided to get something cheaper. After getting hundreds of quotes from various Insurance companies, I decided to settle with ******** Insurance/Jupiter Auto Insurance which had the lowest quote. That was a BIG mistake ! The application form only let me declare 1 accident, so when the company found out I actually had 2 accidents they tried to charge me a $120 fee for not disclosing the 2nd accident. I thought that was their job ? Also once they discovered the other auto accident, my original quote shot up with a $25 fee attached so it wasn't much cheaper than my previous insurance. I quickly called an canceled the insurance which I only had for 2 days and asked for a refund. However the Cancellation fee was more than half of my deposit ! I deposited $120 and only got $47 back ! I would not trust these people with my credit card. They seem to think it belongs to them ? I have since switched to Liberty Mutual which is $25 cheaper than what "******** Insurance" with no outrageous if not illegal fees.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/11/09) */ The insured Mr. ****** bought an auto policy from one of our local agencies in Tulsa, OK on 10/20/21 with a quoted total six-month premium of $478.00 which didn't include two at-fault accidents found on his driving record after the insurance company processed the underwriting review. This change adjusted his total six-month premium to $979.00 on 10/21/21; the insured didn't agree with that rate so he canceled his policy on 10/22/21 and a refund was processed for a pro-rated factor amount based on the policy was canceled prior to the six-month expiration date of 04/20/22. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2021/11/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) When I initially filled out my application for Insurance, the Form that *************/Jupiter had me fill out only contained room for 1 accident report which I filled out. The company quoted a monthly bill of $145 . They asked me to make a down payment of $95 to activate my coverage which I paid using my ATM card. A day later my Bank statement showed they actually charged my card $120 due to some type of unknown fee. A day later they told me that my premium had increased to $169 monthly plus I would have to pay an additional $120 for not notifying them of the second accident. I called to cancel but only got refunded $47 after only 2 days of coverage ! This is highway robbery ! I would like a Billing adjustment of at least $100 minus the $47 that they refunded already.
