In response to the disconcerting noise emitted from my vehicle's braking system, I promptly engaged the services of the reputable automotive establishment known as Brakes To You, situated in the idyllic locale of ******************, *******. With the utmost diligence, I initiated contact with their distinguished team and proceeded to remunerate them for their expertise. Consequently, a proficient technician was dispatched to my humble abode, tasked with the responsibility of rectifying the auditory inconvenience.Regrettably, fortune seemed to have conspired against me, as my automobile exhibited a disheartening inability to come to a complete halt, thereby resulting in a perilous near-collision. Swiftly, I conveyed the gravity of the situation to Brakes To You, only to be met with a disheartening admission of negligence from the very same technician. With remorse in his voice, he confessed to inadvertently leaving a brake line unclosed and installing a defective brake caliper. Despite their ******* efforts to ameliorate the situation, the brakes persist in their unsatisfactory functionality, causing not only great inconvenience but also significant financial losses.Given the gravity of the circumstances, it is incumbent upon me to assert my rights and pursue legal recourse against Brakes To You, seeking due recompense for the damages incurred. The continued malfunctioning of the brakes, with the pedal descending to the floor and the vehicle failing to halt promptly, poses an elevated risk to the safety of both myself and my family. As my sole mode of transportation to my place of employment, I have already suffered substantial financial setbacks in the form of lost wages and income for an extended duration. With unwavering conviction, I firmly believe that Brakes To You must be held accountable for their technician's lapses, and I am prepared to escalate this matter to the office of the Attorney General, pursuing civil action against the company.Initial Complaint

I used this company in November of last year to get my rear brakes and rotors fixed and used them again in January to get my rotors and brakes fixed on the front end of my car. Since then I have the same technician come and look at my vehicle 4 times. The technician replaced the front brakes once in the month of April. My brakes have been severely grinding. When I called and asked for tech to come and look at the vehicle last month, the the tech confirmed that a noise was being made, but had no need to get fixed. I called the company back and asked for them to send a new tech and they did not have one available. In May, I had the tech come back and look at the vehicle. He stated the the brakes and rotors needed to be replaced, but I had to pay for a new set due to being over their warranty mileage. As I explained to the lady ****, the brakes placed on my car where not good brakes due to the technician having to come in look at the car 4 times after original installation. I was also informed that the correct brakes where not placed on vehicle. I spoke with **** again and stated that I needed to speak with a manager. It was over a month before speaking with a manager and I had to make contact with him on my own. The manager stated that they do not "inform" customer on the proper ********************** and that customers have to request the brakes that I needed. I told the manager, "I know nothing about cars, how do I know this?" He could not give a response. I have paid over $1200 for brakes that are ineffective and they are refusing to refund or fix vehicle. There is no way that I should have to replace brakes after 4 months. I am seeking help to get this issue resolved as this is unfair treatment.Customer response

I got my brakes done by brakes to you on 10/21/22 and they broke the right rear brake caliper and piston. I only found out about it after I took my car to get an oil change about the damage they did. According to the *** ********** I should be dead right now since there was essentially no brakes on my car. I tried to contact the company and they didn't offer to fix it just that they would have sent someone to *** to look at it. They didn't offer an apology at all they didn't even offer to refund the brakes since they caused $625 worth of damage to my car
