  Had a contract with Myles K*** to build a house in Cottontown. He brought trades from Nashville that did sub par work and charged prices for quality work and could never be reached to repair. Myles himself installed trim in the house which half had to be ripped out due to cabinets had to be installed. So i had to pay someone to fix all the trim. He was supposed to install gutters and did not even though i have texts that he was i paid 2700.. He was supposed to install cedar porch rail***s which he didnt. i paid ******* . He took money up front for trades - Paint***, Electrical, Plumbing. that did not finish their work I had to hire others to finish. He quit in the middle of a job after ask*** for the rest of the money and i refused since job was a mess and not done. Then suddenly due to health reasons he had to quit but not before he asked for the rest of the money and i said no. His workmanship is horrible. I have door trim that some go to the floor while the other side is 1/2 inch off the floor. His drywaller left a mess at each opening, gouges, holes, wavy drywall. His brick guy left big gaping areas. I had to pay someone to fix yard mess he left. I had to pay someone to come close up all the holes. His budgets were so far off the floor*** people laughed when i told them the budget and said we could not even get cheap linoleum in the entire house for that budget. Driveway culvert had to be ripped out because it was not installed correctly and i had to pay someone else to install new un broken ones. front porch posts are not even one is off to the right & the other is off to the left making the stairs look off center 1 post is hanging over edge 1 is way over on porch making gutters look screwed up. siding is all wavy looks horrible. every tub has rust spots i cant get out from the plumbers cutting pipe. He did not complete his contract. I paid over XXXXX. extra plus the trades i paid him for that didnt complete their jobs.

I have text between Myles and I where ia asked him what electrician he wanted to go with since ***** met the other prices. Myles said the other person because he was mad at *****'s estimator. I will upload copies. I had to fire the Electrical contracotr because Myles let them tear up walls with tool belts, ladders, they had wired half the house wrong, they ran constant hot to some areas that ***** said would of caused a fire. I can get written statements as to what all was wrong. The other electrical contractor did not want me to sue them so they fired the hired out workers and used in house workers and worked with ***** on getting the wiring corrected. ***** even said he was so disapointed in Myles work standards on my house. He had no idea he cut so many corners. Myles hired all sub par workers and i had to redo quite a bit fo what they had done. Myles gave allowances on items like flooring, painting, cabinets. Yet none of his people could do the things for those prices. Floor*** allowance was ******. 2 flooring places said you could not even get linoleum for that price. Myles Cabinet guy said you can have white cabinets but you cant have an accent island and he had nothing to look at. SO for the same price i got beautiful cabinets and stained ones to boot!! Myles price included cheap ugly counters so i had to pay extra for nice ones and it was worth it. This house is be*** built by a reputable builder in white house and so far he says there are no issues....Interest*** that Myles kept blaiming my pola=n for everything. I guess a reputable builder goes and looks at the land before quoting a job then he knows what it will entail. Myles Garage door guy, couldnt find wires so he hun a car opener on the wall. see picture. Garage door broke after two months i had to call a reputable company to repair. Drywall guy left a mess everywhere. My painter took longer but fixed all his drywallers issues and stayed in budget. I could have hired the best builder in WHite House for what I paid out to Myles. Total job cost *******. I thought he was go*** to do a good job and save a little money. Completely wrong and all the work his guys do is sub par. I still have broken windows they broke 6 months ago install*** them. I have huge gaps in the brick outside from Myles Brick guy. I had to hire someone to come in and caulk all the huge gaps between the brick and the house and the brick and the doors water was leak*** in everywhere. None of the water pipes were insulated in the crawl space which was supposed to be done so i had to hire someone to do that to pass ************** put in old concrete drains for the culvbert but did not put them in correctly so the city made us tear them out and install new ones correctly. Basically Myles did not fulfill his contract and the parts he did do had quite a few bad defects. The Plumber would not return calls or come fix his messes when repeatedly called for months. I finally had to hire a different plumber to come fix the things that were wrong. The garbage disposal was put on the wrong side after the guy swaid oh i only put them on the right. Guess what its on the left. The fireplace looks amazing since i took it over and like it shouild in a ******* house. If i had went with the cheap closet organizers he wanted to put in the living room it would have looked horrible. Myles k*** has taste i guess like a cookie cutter builder and when you are spending so much for a house you expext decent work. His framers couldnt frame a straight wall if they had to, his drywaller left cracks and marks everywhere. There is no way i would let that messy company back in to repair what they messed up. Myles himself or his son installed crooked porch beams one is way over on the concrete and ones way on the edge of the concrete. Nothing lines up. Myles is a nice enough guy but he is not a good builder. I have never seen so many half cocked things in my life. The tile for the bathroom i went and bought the stuff i had originally picked out at **** ***** and it cost ****** compared to the 1100 the tile guy got the wrong stuff for. SO iam not aure where Mr. K*** gets his info but i savcd enough on the shower tile to have someone do a back splash in the kitchen. Myles tore down the silt fence and did not put it back up costing a lot of money in yard repairs and erosion control. If need be i can get written statements from the trades that did the repairs and just kept say*** to me "this guy was a professional?"
