      Website offers options for shipping. I needed the item fast so I chose 2-day shipping and paid $13.25 extra for this shipping. I received an email saying the item shipped on Monday 12/6/2021 tracking stated delivery date of Friday 12/10. I called the company to refund my shipping charges as this was not 2 day shipping as paid for. Company absolutely refused claiming they do not guarantee 2 day shipping and tried giving me every excuse in the book as to why they are not responsible for whats on their website nor any guarantees to shipping no matter what customer chooses or pays for. I paid for 2 day shipping and it is taking 5 days from the email indicating it had been shipped. This is a scam to get extra money out of customers. I could understand if there was a 2 processing time indicated, but there wasnt and email clearly stated item shipped on Monday. I paid for extra for a specific service and did not receive that service.

      Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/02/17) */ Circle G takes customer complaints seriously and we take pride in the prompt shipping of processing of orders. We received the original order at 6:47 PM on 12/6 after hours. We shipped the package immediately upon resuming work the following day 12/7. Shipping times with carriers begin the day after they are received for processing (12/7) when they received the package for shipment from us. On 12/8 the package began moving through their network and was delayed a day ultimately arriving on 12/10 to the customer. We have a notice posted during checkout advising customers that during the holiday season due to the increased volume in shipping networks it is not uncommon to experience delays in service. I have attached a copy of this to the response for reference. The customer states that they paid an additional $13.25 for the 2 day service. The priority mail service from **** is the cheapest priority option offered on our website. We have a first class option that would cost around $9 with transit times of 5-7 business days. The priority option was an additional $4 and resulted in delivery 2 days earlier than the base service of 5-7 days. The customer did not forego a free shipping option for this expedited service. The only guaranteed express shipment options available from Circle G are ******* (Overnight & 2 Day) which are significantly more expensive than our base services but were not selected by the customer. The*************** requires any advertised shipping rates for their priority service to contain the estimated transit times. This cannot be removed from the posted rate and is clearly defined as not guaranteed in their terms of service. Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2022/02/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Again, I received an email (attached in original complaint)) claiming my item shipped on 12/6/2021. But in fact***** did not receive the package from Circle G company until a full day later, as tracking from***** claims, therefore Circle G was responsible for at least a full days delay of the package , making them responsible for a delay of the 2 days I specifically paid for. Also, they are flat out lying in their response, attached is the order confirmation email from them, received at 2:48 pm on Dec 6 ) and the email claiming the part was shipped came in at 3:59 pm on December 6th, therefor they received, acknowledged and claimed to have shipped out my order well before there so called 'After hours claim. It is bad business to send false emails to customers claiming they received and shipped your order and then actually wait a whole day before actually shipping the order, especially when the customer pays extra money to have the item early, regardless if there was a 1 day delay from***** due to holiday, there was a whole other 1 day delay caused by Circle G that has nothing to do with the***** delay. And now they are flat out lying about when they received the order when I have solid proof they received it during business hours , they acknowledged the order, during business hours, and then in turn sent me a message claiming they shipped the order, all well before closing on Dec 6. My attachments prove they are lying in their response to BBB, and this needs to e dealt with.
