I hired Mr. Goldtrap to represent me on 03/2020. Ive had to reported him to the Tennessee bar because of lack of communication. I would call him for months, weeks and days at a time to help me with no answer from him. I had no choice but to file a complaint with the Bar against Mr. Goldtrap. After my complaint against Goldtrap to the Tn bar association he file a motion to be removed from my case and that the motion will have been carried out at the hearing. We were waiting for the hearing for him to be relieved but Goldtrap never showed up to the hearing and my case was retired. After the case was dismissed The courts granted Goldtrap release from the case altogether. Pior to the hearing Goldtrap advised me that if his request to be relieved is granted he advised that he would refund my retainer back to me. In an email on 7/19/2022 Below is the email from him to me about the situation in July. My hearing was 08/24/2022 and I have not heard from Mr. Goldtrap since 8/25/2022. I have called his office and I have emailed him several times. This business has been reported several times to the Tn Bar Association and this attorney has been found to be incompetent he has been reported to the bar several times. He should not be allowed to take people's money because he is in fact a thief. He promises services and does not provide them.. Instead steals money from his clients. If the shoe was on the other foot and I stole from him my consequences would be immediate I feel it's only right that his should be as well.
