      Employees are uncooperative on status/claims filed. Customer service is based in Malaysia and no means to speak with US operations. Worst customer service I have seen in a while. I suggest no one buy Insurance from this company with a 1.5/5 rating.

      Horrible Customer Service. Do not purchase their universal life insurance. Wilcac puts themselves FIRST before their paying customers *yes, the people who actually pay them) and will exhaust your savings portion of your policy without notifying you when they do. Their premise is that they send you a letter every september (once a year). They have no website where you can set u your own portal to track your account. They sent me a letter on June 20, 2024, letting me know my policy was going to lapse in 60 days and my new premium is nearly double the cost....after debiting my policy savings. A loyal customer would expect a letter or email when that process began, regardless of an annual letter. Angry and disappointed after paying premiums for over 35 years. I feel ripped off....period.

      I believe the complaints shared here, because I am experiencing some of the same issues. It appears this is not a good company. Maybe they do not realize they will cease to exist without customers. I have tried to find an agent but so far, no luck. The original agent I used has passed away.

      This company is absolutely the worst corrupt and despicable organization I’ve ever dealt with. My 88 year old mother passed away on May 15th 2024 and a $605 premium was taken from her bank account on May 8th. She’d had this policy for almost 30 years mind you and was a retiree if the state of Oklahoma,. She worked hard her entire life and paid money for a life insurance benefit to be paid upon her death that is now being said to have been in a “grace period” and now is void. A total of close to 80k has been paid to this company in premiums over the years she had this policy. I’ve contacted Oklahoma’s insurance department that’ve now sent me a letter from Wilcac stating the policy lapsed mdue to non payment of premiums. Are you kidding me??? They took a premium out exactly 7 days prior to her passing away!! I’m definitely getting an attorney to try to resolve this. I’m ashamed and how they’ve treated my mother and they have no care as to how they’ve affected the family she left behind. I give Wilcac a big fat negative 100.

      There have been multiple mergers, acquisitions and solvency conservatorships in the Insurance Industry making it difficult to get service on policies owned for a long time. WILCO merged into WILCAC and WILCAC is now owned by Wilton RE. WILCAC Insurance Company number is 844 . 877 . 6907 Their parent company, Wilton RE's number is 800 . 603 . 2869 If you do not get the satisfaction you need from either, contact the Department of Insurance in your home state and file a complaint. The BBB can be very effective against typical businesses but Insurance companies are regulated by the DOI and pay no regard to the BBB. The DOI has the power to strip their professional licences where the BBB doesn't. If they receive a DOI complaint, they have a very short time to reply and may not lapse your policy until the investigation is resolved.

      I would give Wilcac Life Insurance Company a minus 100 if I could. For over 33 years we paid in to what we thought was life insurance policy. We have paid them around $90,000.00. Every year their incompetent accountants say that the monthly payments aren't enough to cover the premiums and they want an additional $1,000.00. Apparently almost $5,00.00 a year isn't enough for them. They purposely wait until the policy has allegedly entered the "grace period" to notify us that it has. In this way they can cancel out any possible cash value of the policy. We have decided to "cash out" the policy because it isn't worth the paper it is written on and they won't honor it. They won't even give us back $5.00. DO NOT do business with this so-called life insurance company. It's doubtful that if the supposed insured should die that you will get a dime from them. You're better off putting your money in your mattress.

      Despicable behavior from this company. Multiple calls to offshore call center. Unable to receive a death claim form either by **** or email. Why aren’t state regulatory departments looking into the shameful activity. This doesn’t look good for a bedefit. Wonder if I’ll receive the annual premium due notice in the next few weeks. BBB - do you job!

      I paid a loan off in December 2023 and found out today, March 25 2024 that the money I sent was applied to my monthly premium which is not delinquent and never has been. Loan is still showing outstanding. Makes absolutely no sense at all. Told that there is no supv available and that someone will call me in 24-48 hrs. Absurd! Horrible customer service!

      Very poor customer service; language barrier; time barrier. I am beneficiary and it was a veritable nightmare getting all the paperwork filed to their satisfaction. Still waiting for payment. All I get when I call is 7 - 10 working days. No company website. Not impressed. Thinking of contacting attorney.

      My MIL passes January 8, 2024. We found a LI policy on my husband, started in 1975. Called this co January 10. Was told DC had to be sent to verify owners death (MIL) and transfer ownership to insured (husband) Have called 5xs and spoken to people whom I can't understand and vice versa. Form is being dispatched o be sent. Every call was a different excuse at to why. Today, we received a letter that we must have proof of transfer by husband by way of probate, small estate, etc. Called them again. And once again, I got a person I couldn't understand, that wasn't understanding ANYTHING I was asking. She couldn't..and then wouldn't transfer to another CS. It was a nightmare. I used my phone to call them. Got another man I couldn't understand. Called again. FINALLY a woman I can communicate with. She gave me date of contract (1975) type of Insurance and the amount. She said basically that it's a simple LI policy that is a no brainier to transfer ownership, keep or cash out. It was as simple as it gets. So I'm downloading their own form I need for this step and will fax asap!.,This company is a joke. Completely reading off scripted paper, poor English and poor communication! It's pitiful you can't get things done for oneself without dealing with this type of situation... especially in the time of a loved ones death! Figure it out and keep calling them till you get it right!
