I had my forklift serviced by MHI *********. They came to my shop and looked at the forklift and made a quote and verbally went over it on the phone with me. I was told over the phone, the oil was leaking and they needed to take it to the shop to fix. I got the forklift back and it is still leaking oil. They charged me for a light that was on that was invoiced as being fixed, but check engine light is still on and was told over the phone this is a common issue with this forklift and they couldn't fix it. However I was charged to fix it. They were supposed to tune up the motor and it runs worse than before I gave it to them. On top of this everyone faild to notice the muffler that is louder than h*** with a huge hole rusted through it that needed to be fixed. I paid them approx $6500 and when i called to tell them it is still leaking a guy came out for 10 minutes to look at it and they sent me another $750 bill. They also told me the battery and coils needed replacing over the phone and none of this was fixed either. The forklift will rev up high and low rpms without having foot on the gas. Whatever they have done made the machine very dangerous.Business response

This complaint is a misunderstanding of expectations. We quoted and repaired specific issues. This machine had additional issues that were not quoted because they were not present upon original diagnoses. We did inform the customer that once we repaired the original problem, it would take additional funds to repair these additional issues. We are more than happy to help repair this machine
