My name is ***********************. I had a reservation at the Staybridge from January 29 2024 to February 17th 2024 while I was to be treated for leukemia. I was supposed to start a Clinical Trial but it got postponed so I needed to checkout early.On February 7th I went to the front desk and *** was on the desk. I told him that we needed to checkout today and I would need two copies of my receipt. No problem ************. *** handed me the receipts. What *** forgot was to charge the checkout date in the computer. Ten days later I get another charge from Staybridge for $1472.31 for the 8th to the 17th. We were not there, ************ we were not there as he watched as we carted our stuff by the desk and loaded our car. I called the hotel and ask to speak with ***. He was not there. I then received an a couple of emails from the General Manager, ***********************. Basically saying that I did not give notice of an early checkout and therefore they cannot refund my money. I dont know how much more notice they need. I told *** at the desk that Im checking out and need receipts.
