I called Sicilian Pizza on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at approx 11:30 to order a pizza. I gave my credit card number for payment of $25.78 and was told the pizza would be delivered to my hotel in 30-45 minutes. I went down to the street to wait and at 12:15 a.m. I called to check the status of the order. I spoke to a man and was told that my pizza was on the way but that the delivery driver was stuck in traffic and would be there within 15 minutes. I waited unitl 12:40am and still had not received my pizza. I called back and this time spoke with a lady. Again I was told that the pizza was on the way but that the driver was stuck in traffic and that he would be there within 15-20 minutes. I told her that that was the exact thing I was told 25 minutes prior. She asked to put me on hold to figure out what was going on. When she got back on the phone she told me that my pizza was NOT with the driver that was stuck in traffic and that it in fact had not been made yet. I asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager was not available. I asked to speak to whomever was in charge and was told nobody was in charge and that the manager would not be available until 8:00 Friday morning. I told her to cancel my order and refund my money and she said she did not have the ability to do so. I called back Friday morning, July 1 and spoke to a person that said she was the manager. I could be wrong but I think it might have been the same lady I spoke to the night before. I explained the situation and again asked that my card be refunded the purchase price of $25.78. She said she would refund the $25.78 but that it would take 3-5 business days for the refund to happen. When I got my credit card bill the $25.78 purchase was still on there with no refund. The $25.78 was charged on July 2, THE DAY AFTER we spoke and I was told the money would be refunded.
