Review from Frustrated with Hayward

We purchased a Hayward Gas Pool Heater on 1/28/2021. It registered an error code and stopped working. Hayward does not answer their phones personally, but directs the customer to go to their website to locate a service provider. None of the providers that were listed, would service the heater because they said they were not authorized or had the proper licensing. I've emailed the company and they provided a work order to a company that declined to service the heater. When I was able to get in touch with Hayward, they gave me the names of other service providers. I called all of them and they refused to help citing the same reason of not being authorized. I am writing this to let other potential customers know that if they purchase a Hayward Gas Pool Heater they will find it extremely difficult or next to impossible to find a repair service that will honor a product that is under warranty. Buyer Beware of Hayward!

Hayward reported that Joseph, their technical manager for Florida was to get in touch with me by Tuesday the 4th. I received no response from Hayward. I emailed Aimie and Scott W**** on 1/4/22 for an update and did not receive a response. I called Hayward again this morning at 11:43, (************) left my number, and still waiting 3 hours later. I'm not sure what model they are following, but this has been my experience each of the 4 times I've called. It seems they do not have enough workers to handle their customer base.
Still waiting ....this has been going on for over a week.
