I completed the continuing education required by my Realtor association and state board at Continual Learning Institute in March. The company reported my hours to the state, but not to my association. I have called at least 6 times and asked to have it sent. The first 2 times, I was told they would send it. After that I was told I would have to send it myself but that they would send me the certificate (that I paid for). They still have not sent the certificate and they will no longer return my phone calls. If I don't have this turned in to my association by the end of the year I will have to pay fines and may loose my membership as a Realtor. I am simply asking for them to send me the certificate that I completed my continuing education.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2021/10/31) */ Contact Name and Title: **** ******** Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: *********@integritysolutions.com Tennessee state law requires real estate schools to submit all completed education hours to the Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC). As stated, Continual Learning Institute fully complied and reported these hours. A real estate agent who is also a Realtor, belongs to the local trade association which is separate from the TREC. All licensed agents are not members of the trade association. There are 20 local associations in Tennessee, each with different membership requirements. Each member is responsible for complying with their group's requirements. Real estate schools have never been asked to submit student course completions to the local boards. This would be dangerous since requirements may change which could cause the person's membership to lapse. Continual Learning Institute did not have any record of this individual's request to also submit course completion to the local association. Upon learning of this complaint, she was contacted and it was explained that schools only submit completions to the TREC. Another copy of her course completion was supplied with direction for her to turn this into her local Realtor Board. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2021/11/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I was never sent another copy of my course completion. I was not even supplied an original copy of my course certificate. And no one from this company has EVER reached out to me, not even once this complaint was filed. NO Emil, no phone call from anyone there. And no certificate of course completion. Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2021/11/01) */ The consumer was contacted by phone today and it was explained that each real estate agent is to submit required education course completions to their local Board of Realtors. Although our records show that the course certificate had been mailed at the time of completion, it was never received. A second copy was emailed and the consumer confirmed receipt. Upon further investigation, it seems a temporary employee originally received a call but did not ask others in the office to send a replacement certificate. Continual Learning Institute has trained tens of thousands of students over the past 38 years and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
