I paid for ****'s lead service and they were unable to get the test lead sent through to my email. They asked for a different email to send a test to, to see if it was working, so I gave them my professional work email. The test worked and now they are sending occasional leads to that address although I have told them I have limited access to that email and will have no access after I retire there 1 Oct. Since then they have not responded to my emails asking for a solution. ******************* was very rude and condescending to me on our one and only telephone conversation. Of the few leads I did receive late, 2 were not working numbers and the one I was able to contact was not in fact looking for real estate help. I originally had some difficulty setting up the account and requested a refund before a single lead was sent and they refused.

10/19/22. I have not heard from AHRN about this complaint.

I spoke the an AHR rep regarding advertising opportunities on early August 2022. I was advisers that I would receive a phone call to proceed with adding and including my name and company into the desired area of Maryland. For the last 3 weeks I have called and emailed and no one has responded to my calls or emails. All of calls are routed directly to voicemail as if my calls are blocked. This is not how you should treat your vendor partners. Clearly my business means nothing to them and that's fine, but please I want a full refund as weeks have passed, my payment processed and no communication or follow up as agreed.

I replied to a ******** Ad regarding Realtor(R) advertising for ******** Housing. I was very specific when speaking with Audry ******, ******** Media Account Executive. I rescheduled and she rescheduled multiple times between my clicking the ad and our first communication 11/16/21. I was advised that they were ******** supported and I was advised that the services would start when I completed my forms and marketing items. It was restated by****** ******, Account Manager. I specifically stated that I would not be doing anything until after the 1st of the year (XXXX) and that I had to get everything approved by my broker and state regulators prior to submitting anything. I stated that this should be cancelled as I am not able to do anything until my moves and approvals were completed. I was led to believe that it was not an issue and that I was not starting until I completed my moves and approvals. In the middle of the chaos I had ***** twice in a 6 week period (2 variants) and I became the care giver for a family member. I stopped all my credit cards as I lost my wallet at that time as well. It wasn't until January 2022 that I found out that I was indeed being charged. I was charged 11/19/21 and 12/17/21. I emailed stating my understanding and wanted my money back. I was then sent a copy of my revokable contract. I stated on my 11/19/21 call that I would not be moving forward as I am making serious changes and I would not be able to do anything until after 1/1/22, as seen throughout emails. I have now moved which was finalized 3/1/2022 and I am not moving forward due to their not being what they said they are. They are not and have not been ******** backed for over 8 years now. It was a straight lie and deceitful at best. I want a full refund as requested through my bank and email. They are NOT affiliated with the ******** in any way other than targeting the military for their own gain. Based on many ****** complaint findings this has been ongoing for years.

      Business response

      04/07/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/**) */ On 11/16/21, this customer signed a contract with AHRN for a 12 month partnership. AHRN is one of the most reputable housing resources for the ******** and and is often promoted by housing offices on bases around the globe. This individual states that she was promised that services for her campaign would begin once she completed the requested forms. That statement is true. Her advisement would run for 12 months from the Go Live Date. That does not mean that this advertiser does not have to pay until they provide the completed form. The contract that was signed clearly states the agreed upon payment terms. At no point was this customer ever told that they could delay the owed payments. Per the contract, this customer agreed to 12 monthly equal payments with the first payment due upon signing. At no point was this customer led to believe that she could cancel, as we have the proof that they were never told that, and this customer agreed to the terms and conditions of the contract when she signed. The terms and conditions are very clear and stated right on the contract. Because AHRN has not breached our contract in any way, shape, or form, this customer is not eligible for a refund and AHRN has proof that we have been fair in working with this customer. Consumer Response /* (3000, *, 2022/03/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) - Led to believe the organization was ******** backed, when researched it was exposed that it is not. That alone is reason that we would not move forward with the contact. - Was verbally told everything would start after I moved, when I put it in writing it was ignored. - Calls at *AM to collect funds are illegal - Multiple clients have complained that this is a scam and they trap people and lie. - Zero integrity of the entire organization - they lied to get a deal and are upset I cancelled. I want a full refund as they verbally said no billing or work would begin until I had moved. A verbal agreement is still enforceable per ****** law where our business is located. Business Response /* (4000, *, 2022/03/24) */ Our headquarters are ran out of Nashville, **, and no illegal collections calls were made to this customer. AHRN documents every touchpoint and can provide proof that we have not breached our contract. I can also provide proof that this customer was not contacted before **** am CST. Based on the information that I have provided in my previous response, no refund will be issued to this customer. I will be more than happy to provide any proof to justify the reasoning behind AHRN's decision to hold this customer to the agreed upon terms in their contract. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/03/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) My response Federal Law states no calls prior to**am and after *pm. I am in PST which is where the law applies. I am a ****** resident that only does business in the state of ******. Attached are the records of the illegal practices. On February 22, 2022 @ *:**a; March 16, 2022 @ *:**a; March 22, 2022 @ ****a. As stated in the email to AHRN all contact is to be made in writing. My number is on the National do not call list and I stated not to call me. All 3 calls are attached as voicemail to text is a third party option via my carrier. ********* is not my jurisdiction as all transaction I have conducted is in the state of ******. No services have been preformed. I have supplied proof with every response and I have documentation of each call I encountered. I can provide additional phone records if necessary.

This complaint to regarding to the predatory sales using bait and switch tactics of company AHRN (Automated Housing Referral Network). I have attempted to resolve with them directly but found out they resort very quickly to defensive and bully tactics when challenged. It appears Brent **** handles all communications for this company, which is why I see the history of argumentative and combative tones in the BBB replies that mirror his manor with me in my attached emails. See attached complaint in full, which includes my own research and complete email history

      Business response

      02/15/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/22) */ The customer is making 100% false claims against AHRN, and when I offered to resolve the issue and speak with her on the phone she ignored my phone calls and told me to stop emailing her. I was and I am still available to speak with this customer to answer her questions and concerns and go over the contract in detail, but she has made it very clear that she wants her way or no way. There is absolutely no point where I used any sort of bullying tactics, and I was simply using facts to hold her to the terms she agreed to. This advertiser is using untrue claims against AHRN with absolutely zero evidence to support her claims in an attempt to get out of her contract. If at any point this customer was taken advantage of, then I would 100% do the right thing and I stand by that. The contract that she signed and agreed to has clear written terms and conditions. When I held her to those terms and conditions, I was labeled a bully by this customer. I challenge this customer to provide any documentation that support her claims that she was mislead or lied to. We have the recorded emails and phone calls to prove that her claims are untrue. It is with utmost importance that AHRN acts out of honesty and integrity. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/12/22) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) As my emails show, I asked for specific information and at no time was any of that answerd with anything other than "we didn't lie". When I asked if this was a direct military program the answer I now get is, "we were created by the *** in 2004" but there is zero mention of the fact that military support of this program was lost in 2013, A material fact that would've led me to making a different decision about this company overall. As I was very clear I wanted to work with only a direct military program. Brent **** did give me one phone call, that I missed not ignored, but it was after I expressed I wish to speak to somebody above him. Regardless, I've been trying to reach the corporate office and nobody answers the phone there. If this program had the best interest of the military members at heart, then we wouldn't be here having this battle. This is not about me trying to exit an agreement just because I changed my mind but it simply because I was misled. And if you really do have phone calls to prove otherwise, I would love to hear them. Another fact that was not disclosed, is that phone calls may be recorded which is a legal requirement. Regardless, I would love for you to produce those phone calls that prove I wanted to work with a direct military program and I was never told this was not it additionally, I have the emails that have not been answered by Riley about these concerns. You claim you have proof that she's answered those concerns, but I would like to see that as well because I have every single email printed as well. All I've ever asked is for eveidence to lay my concerns to rest and your rent is " we operate with integrity and honesty" or "we didn't lie" and "we can prove we didn't lie". But I still await this proof. Please produce. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2021/12/23) */ I have given Laura ******** every opportunity to speak with me and answer her questions to go over the contract and answer any questions/concerns that she has. First she tried to cancel her non-cancellable agreement because she felt the communication given to her was not satisfactory as stated in her emails. I explained to her that we keep a record of all communication and I have documented proof that she was not ignored. Then she said the sales rep mislead her, and I gave her the chance to speak with me regarding her concerns to revisit the sales conversation, and because there was no lies told to her I can not cancel the contract. It was when I denied her cancellation request that she began calling me a bully and abusive. AHRN is in no way, shape, or form out to bait and switch anyone that we partner with or speak with. She is refusing to speak with me. I emailed her letting her know that I would like to resolve this matter, and she still refuses to speak with me. In her complaint she states that I am refusing to give her the information that she is requesting. How can I refuse to give her the information that she requests if she will not answer my emails or phone calls? I will be more than happy to let her listen to any phone call that she wishes. She will have to call me to listen to those calls, so I am placing the ball in her court. AHRN has absolutely nothing to hide and I will stand behind the fact that this individual was never once lied to. AHRN works with the military each and every day which hundreds of active duty and veterans registering on our site every day and I can proof that as well. AHRN does have the best interest of the military in mind, and we act out of honesty and integrity, which is why I am so passionate about defending what was sold to her. Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2022/01/05) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This is very interesting and I am confused by this reply TODAY. I have an email from Brent Cary on 12/28/2020 not only releasing me of this agreement but refunding the money paid also. To which I responded to him in appreciation. He stated it was in the interested of both our businesses, to which I agreed. I thought we had agreed to disagree, and that we both were moving on. I have email evidence that I replied, I am not just some ticked off lady who's trying to get her way. I whole heartedly feel I was not accurately informed and and no time were my questions regarding the type of leads (renters vs buyers/sellers) or the DoD ever acknowledged let alone addressed, with any reply other than "we didn't lie to you", which is why I wanted to back away. Without addressing my concerns at all, I was not comfortable proceeding. Any and all emails and phone calls will support that. I will hold onto my 12/28/2020 email, should AHRN attempt to pursue this matter further in any way.
