I called this company to repair my restaurant equipment. I told them what the problem was and what the problem was. They said they could fix it, so I called them. When the technician arrived, they couldn't identify the problem and said there was no problem. Then, 30 minutes later, they found the problem. The technician went back saying he had to order parts and they charged me about $700 just to come and check out the parts needed to fix it. I think this is very unfair and close to a scam. I'm reporting this not because of the money, but because I'm worried about the people who will be further harmed by this business.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Hobart dishwasher from the manufacturer. After 8 months, the water hose is leaking. I called the manufacturers representative and he gives me service number to call. I also inquired about warranty since the equipment was under 1 year old. I called and requested for service. I needed this urgently and so I requested for expedited service . A week went by and no one called and no technician showed up either. I called again and was told i had to give a credit card to hold for the repair in case warranty doesn't cover. I wasnt happy about this. I called corporate and I was told the same. I gave them my credit card, again requested for emergency service. They took my credit card information and told me someone was going to call today since it was an emergency, No one has called. If Hobart cant live up to their warranty expectations, they should pick up their equipment and refund the money
