This is a scam operation which booted my vehicle at my residence. I brought a rental car after office hours and had no means of getting a parking decal. The company booted my vehicle in a matter of few hours and refused to refund me when I showed proof of my residence. This is a predating company as evidenced by many reviews and the BBB warning on their profile.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/09/28) */ The area you parked in requires a parking permit. If another vehicle is being used prior arrangement should be made to insure you are in compliance. Per your previous complaints you had a permit in your vehicle that could and should have been moved over to your rental. We are not a scam Operation as we hold contracts with the parking areas we patrol. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/09/29) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) You clearly are a scam operation as you outright lie. I told you more than many times that I DO NOT OWN a vehicle therefore there is no parking pass that could have been moved over. Why do you conveniently ignore that? To BBB: this is a company of prey. They show in their response here that they also do not hesitate to lie. Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2022/10/13) */ I am sorry you feel that way but as we have explained we are contracted through the property. You are required to have a permit in whatever vehicle you park on the property.Initial Complaint

I parked in the parking lot that says "public parking" on 9/16/2022, and did not see a meter or anything to purchase a spot with so upon arriving back at the vehicle the car was booted. Nashville Booting was notified at 11:40pm and did not arrive until 12:53am. Due to Nashville ordinance stating that the boot must be removed within ONE HOUR of being notified I would like a refund since it was over that time frame. The vehicle was a black Volvo. I paid $95.00 to get the boot removed.Initial Complaint

Date: July 1, 2022 Time: 12:04 AM Amount Paid: $75 On this day, I arrived back at my friends' apartment community. When we noticed a gentleman putting a boot on my vehicle. We let the gentleman know we had permission from the leasing office to secure a parking spot in this area directly next to the visitor's parking. He assured me that he had no mention of the permission and would not be able to contact the leasing office for a description of accountability. In addition, he continued to immobilize my vehicle and suggested I pay through the portal to have someone come out and remove them within the next 30 minutes to an hour. This incident happened simultaneously as we were watching him do this. I logged on to pay the $75 dollars after he suggested I dispute the charge with you all. This way he could take the one boot off while he was still there. Considering, the very unprofessional non-response I have received from this company. It shows greatly the impact you all are making to this city. The gentleman was nice to us. However, shows no loyalty toward the company he worked for. I am requesting the $75 be refunded to be for this incident. This dispute has been ongoing since 7/11/2022 being the 1st written attempt to submit my dispute. Since then, both managers I have dealt with have been unresponsive and have not fulfilled my request to speak to them over the phone. I sent an email on 7/26/2022 requesting a manager call me. I was refused that request and it is shown via email in writing the refusal.Business response

I was sited for non designated parking but there Is no signs in this area saying NO Parking. Not to mention people have parked there every day including me with no issue. I had a work emergency that I couldn't attend to because the technician did not show up in a timely manner.Business response

My car was wrongfully booted in my own apartment complex. They booted it because they said my permit wasn't displayed but it clearly was. They got the boot off within * hours but when I came back to my car the tire they booted was flat. They will not come fix it, and are not responding to any of my calls *4 hours later.Business response

On November 20,2021 I parked at 1634 Church Street (*** Lot). I paid $***** to park there from **** PM to **** AM. When I arrived at my car around ***** PM I had a boot on my car. Once I got someone to come over to see about getting the boot off I was told that I was booted because I put in the incorrect license plate. After looking I did acknowledge that I put in the wrong license plate number but the number that I put in was my old license plate number. I just bought my car last year so I didn't realize. I believe it is totally unacceptable to charge me a booting fee when the only thing I did wrong was put in my old license plate number. One of their employees handled the situation in such a way that is honestly disappointing. Many people that parked in that lot that night did not pay at all. I paid $** and was not only charged a booting fee, but I was also charged $** instead of the $** that was on the booting fee ticket! Nashville Booting is a TERRIBLE company that takes advantage of people. Booting people for simple mistakes is not the way to run a business. Are you guys hurting that much for money that you'd target innocent people?Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/30) */ as we have already explained, it is the ******* responsibility to make payment and enter the correct information for the vehicle which they are parking. we have no way to predict the license plate of a vehicle that was entered incorrectly. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/11/30) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) A good business would understand a mistake verses someone completely not paying for a service. You guys are still trying to get over on innocent people and making excuses on top of that. What you're telling me is that I could have been off by one number or letter on my license plate and still would have been booted. Honestly your company is pathetic. I hope no one ever parks with you ever. I know I won't and I'll be sure to warn others. I literally watched people park in your lot and NOT pay anything at all. I took the time to download your app and ACTUALLY PAID! Your response is ridiculous. I hope someone gives you this same excuse one day.****** comes back around in full circle. Have fun with your class lawsuit.Initial Complaint

I parked in guest parking of ***** Apartments. The resident I was visiting registered me for a guest pass. I was booted overnight. I called Nashville Booting to come take it off but mentioned that there was no signage representing their company in the garage. The only sign was a generic "Park At Your Own Risk", the letters of which were not up to legal code as they are required to be 4 inches in height. I mentioned this to the technician on the phone. When he arrived, he told me that the sign in question was actually not his company's. He then explained they had only had this account for a few days so they must not have put signs up yet representing Nashville Booting. I explained that they were not legally allowed to boot me if they did not have proper signage. He gave me a number to call to file a dispute. I paid $** to have the boot removed, then called. I have since left 2 more messages and have not received a callback. I would like my $** refunded due to lack of legal signage.Initial Complaint

I have multiple disputes against Nashville Booting, LLC. I've followed all recommended lines of resolve by the company including: 4 ****** disputes via the call center, 2 written on the online dispute portal, and 2 e-mails to their management team. I've provided time stamp evidence, but have not received any communication for close to 2 months. On August 11, 2021 at **** pm, my wife and I arrived at at a parking lot monitored by the company. I approached the kiosk 2 times on the lot to purchase a ticket, but the kiosk wouldn't process it (pictures included). We went to the restaurant to eat and at **** I returned to the lot to try again and my vehicle had been booted. I purchased a ticket anyway. I made my first call to them at **** but a technician didn't arrive until ****. This violates the****** Nashville ordinance ********(E) it is prohibited and unlawful to fail to remove the boot within one hour of being contacted by the owner that was booted. I'm seeking $** repayment.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/15) */ Nashville Booting has already contacted and is providing a refund to the listed individual. this issue has been resolved as of 10/15/21 Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/10/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) After reaching back out to Nashville Booting after close to 7 weeks of no communication, I did receive an email from their leadership team. The email seemed to Indicate they were going to refund me, and their response here on *** solidifies this thought. I don't believe I'll have further issue, and assuming follow through with the $** refund I'll have no need to hold this case open on ***.Initial Complaint

On 10.09.21 I parked at a garage on Adams Street in Nashville, **. I tried to pay my 2 hour parking fee using the ** code on the wall but it kept kicking me off the page, you can see on the screen shot I attached my history and that it showed paid, not sure what happened there, however, when I got to my car less than 2 hours later someone had put a boot on it. I HAD to have them send (a VERY unpleasant) man so that he could remove it for $** so I could go home. I should NEVER have had to pay the $**, I was very happy to pay the $**** parking fee, however, I tried and tried and it wouldn't work. I cannot get any response from the Booting company, although their answering service assures me someone will call me back but they haven't and there is no possible way to reach *******, I have tried. Someone needs to make this right, these are beyond disgusting business practices.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/10/15) */ When it did not allow you to complete the transaction you still choose to remain parked, unpaid in the garage. this is the reason you were immobilized. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/10/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) You people are unbelievable and you are *******. I was sitting down to dinner and thought I could find a phone number or something on the wall to call and resolve it when I got back to my car. Instead I had the boots on my car. I will put you people ALL OVER social media AND tell anyone and everyone to drive away as fast as you can if they see a ******* lot. I am aware this is not you but you do business with them and there is no way to contact them.Initial Complaint

They booted my car in a parking garage at ***. I called them at ****pm to have the boot removed. The spokesperson took my number. She told me to stay with my car and the tech would call me when he was on his way to remove the boot. She wouldn't tell me average response time or how long it would take. She told me to sit there and wait for the tech to call with no timetable or notification at all on when he might come. I sat there and they didn't come or call that night. I had to call them the next morning. To remind them and wait for someone to call me back.
