Date of occurrence- 6/12/23 Vehicle involved- 2022 **** f350 king ***** diesel truck. I took my truck in for an oil change/ routine maintenance. The service department drained the oil in my truck then started and ran the truck for minutes with no oil which resulted in a blown motor. The dealership gave me a base f150 as a loaner to drive initially. My truck is used as my office/ work everyday pulling trailers. This truck would not suffice so they changed the loaner to a 2020 **** f350 limited. I have contacted the dealership and went to their office a couple times about a timeline on getting a new engine out in my truck. They say they cannot give me a time on when they will be able to repair my truck. I am in a lesser vehicle while still paying monthly on a broken truck I cannot drive. The loaner truck has terrible tires so I will have to miss time from work to attempt to get replacement tires from *************. It has been well over a month with no update or any answers from anyone. I have never reported to BBB for anything, but this is an almost new $85,000 truck problem that affects my everyday life. I am a business owner myself and communication is everything. I know they will still use supply chain issues for their excuse, but that excuse shop has sailed. Time for a new excuse. Thousands of **** diesel trucks are built every month with new engines so no reason an existing customer cannot get a replacement of an item that is readily produced. Any help is appreciated. We were so upset about an error made on our end, and we are doing our best to rectify it. If we had the engine this would have been the first one done. We did get the tires replaced on the F350 that he is driving of ours. **** has not supplied us with the 6.7L engine, and it is devastating. We would love to get this vehicle completed and get this customer back on the road. We have been advocating for him with **** to get the engine sooner, but they have given us no ETA.Initial Complaint

My vehicle was taken to this shop for a repair per my insurance company. The vehicle is currently considered stolen as they failed to fully repair the vehicle and place a VIN # on it. after having the truck for 11 months they have not repaired it to any standard and the insurance company (Progressive) is joining me in seeking full reimbursement for this truck. The shop manager has been anything but honest and will not even return email/calls to myself or the insurance company.Business response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.********************* was able to work on my behalf to get resolution but only after I filed a state complaint on them and filed a second claim regarding the truck after it flooded post repair from the dealer. I have and will continue to update my experience about ***** **** as a "No Buy" dealer. The institutional control of that dealer is atrocious. They got off easy, but grateful to finally have resolution after 14 months without use of my truck. I have ceased my legal proceedings against them as well since the truck is now totaled.
