We made a contract with this "company" to refinish our saltillo tile kitchen floor. We waited several weeks for the "crew" to be available. This company was going to charge us $1300 per day to strip and refinish the floor. We expected a serious effort for that kind of money. When the "crew" arrived, it was 2 guys. One showed the other how to do the job we had contracted and then he left to go to another "job". The worker who was left with us had clearly never done this work before but though he tried hard, there is no way it was worth $1300 for one day. At the rate he was going, it would have taken at least 3 or 4 days just to strip the floor. We only have around 124 sq ft in this kitchen, it wasn't a huge job. After the shock wore off, and after the owner promised a full crew would arrive the next day and get to work and that didn't happen either, we cancelled the job. As it turns out, the owner of this company doesn't even live in the USA. He apparently lives in Europe and from what we were told by his employee, he has a habit of promising more than he can deliver. What sort of "service" company can be managed by an owner who doesn't even live in the same country??? We ended up doing the work ourselves. This company wasted our time and as far as we are concerned, they are a scam. Be very careful before you trust TN Stone Care. Don't be fooled by the fancy website, smooth talking phone person and pictures as we were. Insist on a contract with a start and finish date and how many workers they will supply for $1300 a day (and their experience level) . Hopefully, more than ONE! But take our advice and find a company with integrity, you wont find that at TN Stone Care. I wouldn't ever pay them a dime until the work is finished. Good luck!
