In May of 2021, our company signed a lease with B&B properties upon signing the lease the leasing manager ***** ***** agreed to pay some of the renovations to the space we were leasing given the fact it was a maintenance space for ten plus years and was not a useable space. The contractor sent a message to Ms. ***** and we all agreed and moved forward with the renovations. It is now 2024 and we are not renewing our lease, but B&B properties is refusing to pay the cost they initially agreed to in writing. We initially leased another space A-201 and were given a rate for that space but the owners decided they wanted that space, so we were offered this maintenance space suite C-260 at the same rate. The amendment changed the suite and added the renovation cost. Initially, they refused to pay any of the remodel cost due to the rate were given for the space, but we did that as a favor to them. The flooring was the largest cost we had on the space as the dry wall and work just wasn't as expensive. What we started with was a basic concrete room. We are still getting the run around on them paying the cost they agreed to. We also believe they will not try and return our deposit. We have our last rent payment due April 1st but do not want to make this payment when they owe us well in excess of this payment. I am attaching the emails, quotes/payments, and the lease for review. (Emails read from bottom to top)

Building owners are worth hundreds of millions of dollars and will terminate employees for no reason. TN is a state that allows people to not give a reason to terminate, However, the new Manager, Courtney Trews, will not answer any emails sent by terminated employees. I submitted receipts of items I had to buy with my own money because they would not order them because the multi millionaires that own the 10 story building in Oak Ridge at 800 Oak Ridge Turnpike (AKA Application Underwriters) claimed that the items required to clean MEDICAL and office areas were "too expensive". SO if you are a patient of any of the medical facilities in the Jackson Plaza building, your health is in jeopardy because of a few cents difference in proper cleaning supplies. The Dermatologist on the third floor had to buy a new property because they are fed up with the property owners and will move out in February 2024. Also, the building is INFESTED with roaches! not the little ones, but the water bug 3" long ones! If only they would of responded to my emails and reimburse me, this review would never had happened. The Better Business bureau is next to have this review.
