I Paid for a wedding cake in full and the money was taken out of my account on October 4. The wedding is not happening until December 7. I was going to have to place things on the cake at the venue and I was fine doing that. However since placing the order I have gotten some bad news at the doctor and we had to change catering companies because I am unable to do that instead I have to have surgery so I called and emailed the owner on October 18. She said she would go back through the emails and get back with me. Weeks went by and nothing. I called back and several times and finally got a worker didn’t know anything about it. The next day I called back spoke to the owner she said she would call me back and get back with me and then she also now out of no where said oh you still won’t get all your money because I keep half up front for deposit. First I have heard of that. She said she would call me back the next day that she wasn’t avoiding me. Today is 11-15-2023 I still have not received any response from her and my husband has called there as well she is never available. She basically has stolen $402.18 because she knows she is not doing anything for our daughters wedding. And refuses to make this right. Yet she continues to keep that money knowing that I notified her as soon as I knew that I was not going to be able to be at my own daughters wedding. I am devastated and she is just not understanding what is really going on I don’t suppose.
