            My home is too small for laundry appliances, so I, like many in *********, rely on Maytag Laundromat on **** Street as it is the only facility in town. The machines are poorly maintained and most of the time the ones that are down are not labeled, so many people lose their money in them. Ms. ***** owns the car wash that is on the same property and has the same issues with maintenance. There is no contact number posted to get a refund, but people who have found a way to contact Ms. ***** say that she gets upset if she is asked for a refund. Many of us don't even bother anymore. This is a very small town and going to another laundromat or car wash out of town is difficult for many residents. It seems that Ms. ***** would maintain these facilities since she IS a business owner and so many rely on her facilities, but since she is the only game in town, she leaves the machines as they are and unmarked as "out of order" so people put their money in only to lose it. A laundromat is obviously a moneymaker, but does require the machines to be maintained and that costs the owner. However, knowing the machines don't work and collecting the money without repairing the broken machines is the same as stealing from the people who try to use them.

            On January 28, 2024, I had a terrible experience at your laundry facility. I used the coin dispenser for change on the right side, but it didn't dispense my money, shorting me $14.50. I began to use your biggest washer, which cost $7.00, stopped working in the middle of a cycle. This forced me to rewash my clothes in another machine, costing me an extra $6.00 that wasn't necessary. Moreover, your 5.50 cent washer showed an error code and wasn't washing my clothes, and I had to rewash them again, losing another $5.50.I have tried to get in contact the management several times, but I have been given the runaround. First, I was told to go to the barber shop by our local community who have same issue's and business is hardly ever open. This is unacceptable, and I demand a refund of wahy was taken of 38.50 and fair treatment. It's not okay to steal hard-earned income from others who are putting their money into your business. This is plain robbery. I was at establishment from 11-5:45. I do have footage and pictures of astablishment conditions and washers/drys on this day. Your business has footage as well for reference of the issue at hand.i suggest a person on call or a on employee. I'm not only person in town with this issue fir many complaints with in the community with same issue's.
