I paid Kevin, the manger of the Pelzer, SC location, $10,000 cash to do the roof on my shop. He still has not finish the job. This was about 4-5 months ago, I can look in the book and get exact dates. Last Wednesday 1/4/23 I reached out to Bret ****, the owner of the company in TN and informed him of the situation and sent him pictures. He told me that he would take care of it. I have not heard anything since. I reached back out to him again today, 1/12/23 with no response. Everytime it rains my shop gets flooded from the roof not being finished. I have pictures of the text, the roof, and of the shop.Business response

We do not install metal roofing in pelzer sc shop, we sell and manufacture metal roofing ,Mr ******* did not purchase any metal roofing from **** roofing. his complaint is with an individual that installed his roof outside of **** RoofingCustomer response

My complaint is with **** metal roofing. I paid Kevin, the manager of the Pelzer, SC location $10,000 cash for the metal and to install to metal. I have several eye witnesses that are more than willing to write written statements that saw **** metal roofing trucks at my property and the employees installing my roof with **** metal shirts on. The last day the were here was on November 24, 2022 and they have not been back to finish the job since. However I do have text messages from Kevin where he states that he will be back to finish the job and again he is the manager of the pelzer **** metal roofing location. I also have text messages from Bret where he states that he has spoken to Kevin about this roof so for him to state that it is someone outside of **** metal roofing is a complete lie. He did state that after he threatened my wife and I have text of that as well.

The situation is not black and white. Although Kevin *****n does work at our location in Pelzer , as a company we do not do installs in SC. Only in Tennessee do we have a roofing crew. However , Kevin does do projects outside of his position with **** Metal. According to our accounting records , no money was received at **** Metal for materials or labor for this job. Our position is that the issue is between the customer and Mr *****n. I did reach out to Mr *****n and asked him to make things right with the customer. He assured me he had been in touch with him and was taking care of the problem.
