My water was disconnected because I forgot to pay the bill due to a lot of other stuff going on and so I went on the online bill pay site to pay it which was $***** Sunday September 5th 2021. After waiting two days with still no water I call to see what's going on and they tell me I still owe $** for a reconnection fee even though nothing on the website where I pay my bills says anything about that and apparently the extra that I paid was next months water bill and it says I owe nothing on the website still.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/16) */ The ordinances of the City of ******* impose a $** reconnection fee for any accounts disconnected for nonpayment Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/09/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The complaint is that they did not clearly specify what I was paying on the website so it leads you to assume paying the total balance was due including the $** reconnect. They say you can't pay the $** online after paying the total balance due on the website with no indication that is the case.
