    In January of 2021 I purchased a Hyundai Santa Fe from this business. In March of 2021 this vehicle broke down, and I had it towed to the Quality Auto lot. During this time I put close to $800 in Uber and a rental vehicle. After multiple calls to find out what progress was being made, almost 4 weeks later, on April 28th, I was told the problem with the car - basically there was no way to repair the issue. The owner told me that I could come in, he would make an exception "this one time", and choose from the inventory on his lot, to get a replacement vehicle. The down payment I had made, along with the couple of monthly payments, would transfer over to the replacement vehicle. I ended up purchasing a 2010 Ford Fusion, and before I left the lot I had to put another $600 down on the car. Now, over time I will admit I was late with payments, but I always made the payments, even after the owner called on several occasions and was very rude and hateful, very threatening. A week and a half ago the car completely died, no warnings at all. Since then I've put in close to $1,000 in parts/labor, only to find out there are multiple issues with the engine and its components. I was informed by several professional auto mechanics that this is not a problem that would have occurred during the time I've owned it, that this is an issue that has been there for a long time, and had the car been thoroughly and correctly inspected prior to selling it to me it would have been found. This discovery upon inspection would have also been a head's up for the dealer to have not sold it without proper mechanical repairs prior. Now, I'm sitting here with a car that will not run, with repairs estimating at over $3,000 just to get it running again, and 2 payments left. While I know the laws in Tennessee regarding used vehicles, I do believe I am due some form of reparations, as this is the second vehicle I've purchased from this particular owner, and have then endured the same fate.
