Sept 16, ***** ****** w Rain Drain began gutter work on my house. Said he will be back 'tomorrow' to finish. That didn't happen and excuses began. ***** was also to dig trenches for 3 drains to connected to the gutters in the front yard. I understood both projects would be done as one complete job. ***** asked for payment for the gutters because the drain work was a different crew. I wanted to hold off but felt pressured to pay for the work that was just completed. In retrospect/ the gutters were not complete, so I should have stood my ground. After the next rain I found a big big leak behind and through a gutter that dumps water on my front porch causing moisture around my foundation and front door. I have not been able to get them back to complete the gutter work. ***** kept making excuses about the drains I said let's not do the drains. Let's just complete the gutters, finish and repair what needs to be done. There is an area that still needs gutters hung and all the Downspouts need elbows to be complete. There are black handprints all over the gutters. He has left downspout material in my back yard- because he said he would be back to finish up. I have been contacting by phone and text since Sept 16. I get excuse after excuse. I got excuses before he started- but he remained accountable and apologetic until the gutter work began. I am told tomorrow, next week, or the weather prevented me from coming, been sick, always an excuse. I have not spoken or received a text in over a week. I have no other point of contact for him or his company. I have reached out on his Facebook page. I have a brick mason, house painting, and other home repairs on hold until this job is finished. No one else around has the size gutters I had installed. ***** has to finish this job. He didn't get a few details right/ he acknowledged that- and i thought he was making good on that to finish up .Then-crickets- no response. It has been 8 weeks since the gutter install.
