SO EMBARRASSING!!! Wanted to ride the horses but was discriminated by them telling me I was overweight and to heavy to ride the horses. We were never told there was a weight limit for riding a horse when we paid our money!!! The staff needs to do better at their job!!! Requesting a FULL REFUND due to not being able to ride, which they should honor it.

This place is deceptive. They advertise approximately 12 miles AND an hour 15 minutes of mud slinging fun. They recommend bringing a change of clothes and purchasing boot covers. Our time slot was 12 noon. We asked about the boot covers at check in and was told our Guide has them. At the ATV check in they told us the Guide had them. Once we were called to load up at 12:15 we were instructed to put on helmets. We asked about boot covers. Our Guide said you don’t need them. We asked about a refund he said go to the front desk after the ride. Our group left at 12:30, rode across a pasture for about 10 minutes. We stopped for 10 minutes and was given safety instructions on these ravines and deep hollars. We rode a couple trails that were definitely not ravines and deep hollars. They advertised a moonshine still which our Guide had no clue existed. They are on 132 acres advertising riding 12 miles of trails. You’re on low gear that’s governed so you can run about 5 mph. The Guide tells you that if you spin, speed up or fish tale your ride is over. Yet they advertise mud slinging. We stopped for 15 minutes to take pictures in the middle of a pasture. Then back at the ATV check in at 1:20. Our entire ride might have been 2 miles and 35 minutes. The Staff are rude when you question them, they remove your reviews. This is a very deceptive outfit. You do not get the services they advertise.

Beware..I would give it NO stars but it's the only way to start. I was there with a group of 15 family members. Jan 3rd.. 2024 my fiance was injured when she tipped over at 4 miles per hour on a rut downhill with her ATV dislocated her elbow .We where about 20 min into the tour. Left on a rescue to knoxville medical center..next day not only was I charged for the tour but there was an $50 dollar extra charge with no notification. I reached out to find out They said nothing had broken on the ATV but since it tipped over they charged me for an oil change. I have had ATV's my whole life that was ridiculous. They never even asked how she was doing. The other part of group also returned and where also charged the entire fee. That's abusive

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! Im usually a go with the flow person and give everyone the benefit of the doubt but this experience was inexcusable. When you arrive you sign in with an iPad and sign your waivers. It was fine for us bit not working correctly for others. There were no staff members to help anyone , esp those who are not tech savvy. I helped others because thats what I do. Then you stand in a long line waiting to pay for the activities you want to do. It was hot and thankfully that area was shaded. We chose to go horseback riding and the monkey/aviary experience with our 4 yr old grandson. Before we sign up she asked if we were aware of the wait times? How could we be aware of them if its not posted anywhere? Go with the flow personality kicks in. Ok so what is the wait time? 4 hours. Ok no problem. We can see the monkey...check into our cabin and come back later. Go to line number 2 for explanations of where to go, pay and get wristbands. Nice lady tells us where to go to check in and what time the little train leaves to see the monkey and takes our money and thanks us. I look around....other folks are wearing wrist bands. Excuse me do we need wrist bands? Oh yes ...shoot I forgot....puts bands on us for horseback riding. We then head to the train to go up to see the monkey and birds. The lady working the train....." I need to see your wrist bands" She didnt give us wrist bands for this. Back in line to get wrist bands put on to see the monkey. So far my 4 year old grandson is taking on grandma's go with the flow approach to life. Now back to the train. We made it. Its basically a little open house where you can interact with Abu the monkey and see birds in the aviary. Its was a cool experience but for some reason I expected more. No problem...it was fun. At this point we left and came back 4 hours later to horseback ride. When we come back we check in and get in line. It was sweltering hot. We wait and wait and wait and wait. It was as if not a single horse was ready to go. It took an hour to an hour and a half just to load up folks on a horse. Can u even imagine being the first person on their horse sitting on it that long without moving in the hot sun? At this point my go with the flow attitude up and went! We were dripping in sweat waiting our turn. No one offered anyone water! It was miserable. My grandson was about to ride a horse for the first time in his life and this ruined his excitement and experience. Finally we are about to start. My husbands horse was Dan. Dan wouldnt move. We were not allowed to pass another horse so we were all at a stand still. They were yelling at my husband to kick him hard. He tried. Dan wouldnt budge. They said he is stubborn...kick him HARD! He walked a few paces and stopped again. Workers came up...hit the horse to move....pulled on his reins...still nothing. Finally he started going again but again stopped. They continue to yell at my husband to kick him...KICK HIM HARD. This did not help the first time experience of my grandson riding a horse watching his papa being yelled at to abuse a horse who clearly did not want to do this. The guide came back....took Dans reins and held onto them and he followed behind her. Now lets picture this moment. My husband , who is a big 6 ft1 in man, not only got yelled at but now feels like a toddler with his horse being pulled by a guide. Really? Thats the experience we paid for? My grandson who was completely excited about riding a horse is now telling me he doesnt like it and never wants to do it again. THANK YOU JAYELL RANCH FOR MAKING MY GRANDSONS BIRTHDAY SO MEMORABLE IN AN AWFUL WAY! Apparently the horses, hot weather and wait time caused I'll effects on other guests. One lady went into a full blown panic attack and a whole family of 8 to 10 people turned around and went back. They told us Dan "does this". Then why the heck are they putting any riders on Dan? The guide told us a lady fell off her horse the day before . She also told us when a man went to dismount that he fell off into the mud at the horses feet. I've never paid money to have fun and be so miserable in all my life. Our day was ruined by Jayell Ranch. I tried to be upbeat but in this photo my grandson was fighting back tears.
