The Quality Inn near the Island of Pigeon Forge Tennessee booked us in a room with a strong bug spray smell. And come to find out after being in there a few hours, plenty of bugs in the room. Room 414. Richard knew we were sleeping in the car until we found another hotel because they could not offer any other accommodations.Customer response

I recently accepted work as a behavioral health therapist in Sevierville, Tn so I am also looking for a place to live but in the meantime I have stayed the past 2 weeks Sunday 09/10/23 -09/15/23 to Friday. And then again 09/17/23 through today 09/22/23 and have paid hundreds of dollars for my stay. I let them know I have a service animal both times at check in. And besides the charge of the stay they charged me $109.00 on Tuesday 09/12/23. I asked why when I checked in on Sun-09/17/23 and was told I would need to talk to the manager. I go to work from 7-5:30 Monday thru Friday. The manager isn’t there those times. Today while I was at work they told my mom that I had to pay the $109 charge for animal and I tried to sneak him in and I am not allowed back at the hotel. Which is a lie. He was even seen with me around the hotel and in his service vest. I just got a chance to speak with the manager and she won’t answer my call or call me back. I didn’t know they could charge for service animals and even if they can why would they say I snuck him in after charging me $109 on 09/12/23. I’m very confused and sad that this has happened and feel discriminated because I have to have a service animal. The manager in fact told my mother he isn’t a service animal and I have proof that he is. She will not even discuss this with me. I need help resolving this issue and the hotel needs to be better with service to customers. Now i probably have this on my record and it’s a flat out lie. What do I do?Initial Complaint

Made reservations for 7-17-23 at Quality Inn *** ******** **** **** Sevirville TN. as a no cancel room however there was a smoking area in front of the room we were assigned rm 112 (handicap room). When we entered the smoke followed us in. 2 people in our party have COPD and cannot tolerate smoke. We asked front desk to move us. They were booked. We pointed out that the sign in the room stated it is a no smoking property and asked for a refund. They said we would have to work with choice privileges who we booked with. Called them they said hotel has to refund. Both said it was a non cancel reservation so too bad. I have sent 2 demand letters to the corporate offices with no response. I have attached pictures showing one of the 3 smokers left when we went back to our car and sign in room showing no smoking property and the cancellation message on my choice website even though they said they couldn’t cancel it. Since they could not accommodate and did not provide us the service we paid for which was another room I am asking that we receive a full refund. Thank you for your help
