They robbed my wife of $400. They told her she needed break fluid (she didn’t) and asked if she’d like the service. She politely declined. She only needed an oil change. She sat there for 3 hours waiting for the oil change. When it came time to pay, they charged her over $400 stating the technicians had already started without her approval. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be robbed and patronized.Review from Brandon R

Salesman was nice other than that horrible experience overall. Be very careful if you buy a car in the winter and night check that everything works because they will not fix anything once you leave no matter how many times your told everything works great and as it should in the buying process.

February 02, 2023 Dear Better Business Bureau, Newton Chevrolet GMC is saddened to find that our customer had a less than satisfactory experience. However, we feel that we have “gone the extra mile” for the customer as explained below… The customer came to our dealership in November of 2022. While there, he chose to purchase a Chevrolet Suburban with 130,000 miles on it. Due to the mileage on the vehicle, I explained (and he agreed and signed several times to that effect) that he was purchasing a vehicle that was being sold to him “As Is” with only the limited guarantee that it “runs and drives”, and nothing else. We did agree to a repair for the customer, which was performed, as promised. I would also like to note that while we performed the agreed upon repair, we provided the customer with a loaner vehicle of ours for him to drive – free of charge. In addition, when he came back to our Service Department for a diagnosis, we performed the diagnosis free of charge for him. We also gave him a print out of the diagnosis at no charge. Again, we are sympathetic to our customer being less than satisfied, but we feel that we have not only done everything that we initially promised, but that we have gone above and beyond to help rectify the situation for him. If our customer would like to trade his Suburban back to Newton Chevrolet GMC for a different vehicle, we will be happy to work with him to make that happen.
