On Oct. 8th we discovered our refrigerator was not working and had 1st choice Appliance Repair come out. He fixed the problem for $395 and we were happy Our ice maker made ice before but wouldn't come out through the door. We asked him to fix it. He charged $160 to "fix" that, but now we have no ice at all. I called him and he returned to work on it again, but we still have no ice. He will not answer our calls and we have left messages that we still have no ice. We have spent $ 555 and have a refrigerator that does not produce ice.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/12/06) */ Contact Name and Title:****** **** Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX Contact Email: *********@gmail.com The original complaint and issue was not cooling. The repair was made and customer advised the next day ice maker wasn't working. We came out and looked at ice maker for no charge and advised customer that ice maker was original and would most likely need to be replaced. The customer states the icemaker was working prior to the refrigerator not cooling which we had nothing to do with icemaker that is not what the original call was for. I offered to replace the icemaker at my discounted contractor rate with no charge for labor customer is refusing. We cannot install parts for free Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2021/12/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) We did call because it was not cooling and he fixed it, then we asked him if he could the ice maker so the ice would come out thru the door, he said for $160.00, we said fix it. He fixed that problem but now the ice maker will not make ice. He came back and did something which did not change anything. I called him, he indicated he would come by when he gets back from a fishing trip. He refused to answer my calls. He never said he would not charge for the labor or anything about installing a new ice maker. I played around with it myself and it is working. I DO NOT want to go any further with this I want no more contact with him. I thank you for your trouble
