I recently ordered a 5-piece cast-iron baking set from Lodge. I ordered it on 12/21/2021. While my card was immediately charged, I received an email saying my order would not ship for 7 business days and was scheduled to ship on 12/28/2021. On 12/27/2021, I received an email saying my order had been "delayed" and no new shipping date given. I went to Lodge Customer Service, explained the email I received and was told that the order was still scheduled to ship on 12/28 and that the email was sent in error. On 12/29, I checked with Lodge again after not getting any information about the order shipping on 12/28. I was now told that the order was "delayed". When I asked for a shipping date, Customer Service said they could not provide one. At that point, I said that without a firm shipping date, I was going to have to cancel the order. At this point Lodge Customer Service told me that per their Terms & Conditions, once I placed an order it could NOT BE CANCELLED!! I have never heard of anything like that and asked for a manager or supervisor. I was told that none were available - a standard response when customer service does not want to deal with an issue. I ended the online chat at that point. About 2 hours later, I received an email from Lodge Customer Service saying the order had been canceled and that I would be refunded the amount I paid via credit card. As of an hour ago, the refund had not been submitted to my credit card company. If it is not submitted by 1/3/2022, then I will escalate this to a full BBB complaint and also file a complaint against Lodge in the state of Tennessee

I went to https://www.lodgecastiron.com/ to purchase some items. It was not possible to get the sale price offered. A banner at the top gives the sale. In this particular case, it was buy 2 bakeware cast iron pieces and get silicone grips for free. I've experienced the same issue with a prior sale as well. In this case, no matter which bakeware was in the cart the silicone grips were never discounted. I contacted their Support. Over a week later, after the sale ended, they replied with "Thank you for reaching out to us. the promo for buy 2 bakeware items get the free silicon bakeware grips free has ended. Thank you." That's it. If a consumer can not get the product for the advertised price, then that's a problem the company needs to address and be held accountable for.
