A&C Geothermal was contracted in 2018 to install geothermal radiant floor heat in our house that was under construction. They installed the tubes in the floors in Nov 2018. It has been an ongoing struggle to get them to complete the job. It has taken regular calls and threats of legal action over the past year to get any action, only finding success after getting a lawyer involved last summer. They agreed to proceed with the work immediately after the lawyer contacted them and we have agreed on the equipment set to be installed, given the delays in installation made some original options no longer viable. They delivered the units on Oct 21, with a crew of three, saying they were going to install the units. They didn't even arrive with the basic feet they needed to place the units where they were supposed to be installed. They said they would pick up hardware on October 22 and return on Oct 25. They cancelled and left equipment sitting all over my garage and shop for the past 6 weeks, preventing me from getting things back in order so I can use my equipment and spaces, while blocking the utility room doors open that separate the conditioned part of the house from the garage. They continue to promise installation dates, and continue to cancel them, often on the day they were scheduled to arrive, after I have taken vacation to meet them. Three weeks ago they scheduled on Nov 22, cancelling late in the day. When they arranged Nov 22, they also said they could be there the next day, Nov 23rd, but on the 22nd, they said they could not, but would be here this week. Now they say next week. We've been through two winters without floor heat and are now in the third winter without it. The job needs to be completed without further delays. I am incredibly frustrated by the extensive time and effort I have had to invest to get the company to do the work they were contracted to do.
