I filed through turbo tax, created my money spend account through Credit karma, which is only selected when you request the advance at the point of filing. And the process was never completed at first century banks responsibility. I never received the refund email that would permit me to move forward with disbursement. I qualified for the advance across the board. After being ping ponged between turbo tax and credit karma, the deadline came and went. To which point first century Bank was first mentioned to me. I should have been instructed by turbo tax that their underwriting department was the hold up before the deadline not after. There were ample calls and opportunities for turbo tax to mention calling first century bank and they didn't. I believe turbo tax and first century Bank are well aware of their deceptive practices and added too many moving parts to bait n switch customers into filing with intuit. The parent company of both TurboTax and credit karma. And dare I say with vested interest in first century Bank. This will never happen again as I will no longer do business with such amoral company practices. I also see the federal trade commission has sued turbo tax due to the software used to efile. Which I agree shouldn't be allowed to charge for the best deductions. If I have deductions they should be applied and I given the option to upload those deductions if I choose to free file. Absolutely despicable. The IRS has enough problems to add these on to. When the delay on tax payment are the preparers fault and not the IRS. I hope they are forced to pay a hefty fine along with first century bank for colluding with turbo tax to commit fraud. Stating under the requested qualifications a person can apply for an advance only to outsource the process to a third party who never followed through with the process on their end is fraud. Turbobtax lied but first century bank doubled down on the lie denying what was advertised. And being a 3rd party doesn't absolve u
